Ian Horner just has the perfect combination of voice, appearance, and manner of speaking where I automatically assume he's an expert in whatever he's talking about
This opening was 1000% Cameron Lauder. Like, only he could have delivered it. He must have wrote it too. Because if someone else wrote it, they know Cam far too well.
18:30 "Thank you for being me, it's great to have here." A great like, also expected to hear an offscreen Beej drop 😆 Also Cameron's quip about irrational (numbers) was perfect. 58:40 love Cam's Aliens reference too
Not gonna lie, I wasn't watching super closely so I had NO IDEA Matt was behind Cori during the egg segment until almost the very end, I just thought Cori was somehow really really bad at making eggs.
Even funnier, I didn’t immediately realize Cameron’s arms weren’t his own in that segment either. I should probably turn my phone more often to landscape.
Yeah I love it in their other vids too, like if you randomly hear Beej in a Magic stream in the background or whatever. It feels so warm and lived, it's great.
I need to know how to get "hammered into life" into the highlights for this week because more people than will see this live deserve to hear Ian's hammer bag innuendo
Okay I think I mighta been around for 58:00 or so as well, because I definitely remember some "Cool Technology!"s in the chat 😂 Nelson's the only one I can think of who might have come up with this bit naturally rather than as a bit, also 😊😂
I mean, technically closing your eyes just prevents light from entering your eye, which stops your optic nerve from activating, so in a round about way you have turned of your optic nerve.
I don't think "blind powerpoint reading" works any more now that most of them seem to be made to be deliberately insane instead of just "bad". Reading "bad" is funny, but it's such an effort to make "deliberately insane" funny that the segment really drags. Through no fault of the participants, mind, you, I just think the concept has run its course in the face of deliberately bad powerpoints.

God that explains TTSF so perfectly...
Paul did a really good job with The Whole Story videos back in the day, too
Not to mention the seething raw sexuality underneath his professional veneer.
LoadingReadyLive is that thing you look forward to each month that isn't your paycheck.
This opening Cameron monologue is incredible
Cameron opens himself, we see inside, it contains solipsism

"Does a chicken have lips?"
"Haha, I'm glad you asked: NO. Next slide."
Dodging questions so hard he could run for office.

It took me until the plating to realise those weren't Cori's arms. I just earnestly believed that she was capturing my energy in cooking.
BRUH SAAAME
Yeah, I didn't even notice. I couldn't figure out why Matt was behind her, I just assumed he was, like, holding a mic or something lol
It also took me way longer to realize than I care to admit xD
"Checkpoint will now cost TEN DOLLARS per episode!"
Oh, I mean uh, I could watch an ep or two occasionally to fund--
"And it's retroactive!!"
--hECK
I uhh... *Sweats*
Does this include ENN?
In the egg bit it took me a distressing amount of time to realize that Cori wasn't using her own hands. I thought I just wasn't getting it. 😂

Same, I thought I just wasn't getting the joke!
Even funnier, I didn’t immediately realize Cameron’s arms weren’t his own in that segment either.

Dear lord, I love it when Cam has a full philosophical breakdown for the cold open.
I mean this in the nicest way - with the glasses, Ben looks exactly like a PolyOath Of The Moon Wolfography Guru.
Cameron's cold opens are just something especially enjoyable
My favorite part is everyone offscreen cackling.
The best laugh tracks are a live audience.

"in the morning after dark" is a great name when I started the video 00:01 in the morning
I need a clip of Ian sniffing the egg and muttering, "Smells like Chicken"
Eggs : nature's little egg !! completely lost it on this bit xD
I like that they incorporated Serge
47:30 rip to all the people who listen to LRR to fall asleep
18:01 Thank you, Ben.
Self-driving cars are not going to happen, and if they *do* happen, it will be very bad for all of us.
I never knew I needed this in my life :) Thanks
Oh my gosh that intro tho 😂
Cameron, you are a treasure.
Did the budgeting for the new office include an expanded tarp budget?
"And 'then' occurs" is my new favorite way of describing time passing.
Ian singing over that Guitar felt like some Minutemen shit. A+
I wish Ian taught me how to make eggs as a young one. What a great teach!
54:28 Rest In Pig
I watched the whole thing. No one “forced” me. I’m thirsty
I'll admit, it took me WAY too long to realize what was happening in Eggs Three Ways...
Totally unrelated but I love ben’s shirt
I have that same spatula they were using to make eggs. I think it's from Dollarama. It's good! Lol
Morning for the morning god! Dark for the dark throne!
I only just now realized (at 36 minutes in) that there was somebody behind Cori during the eggs segment
I forgot how yellow canadian eggs were
I love the host's empty chairs during the sports segment.
as someone who recently started watching Community, 🎵 its cori and cameron in the morning🎵
You have good tastes in shows. Both Community and LRL.
Nights!
Rest in pig
Was this torture Cameron day? First the egg then the hallway wiggle 😢
If it makes you feel better, he probably volunteered to do it
Every day is torture Cameron day. Such is the sobering condition of mankind.
Oh hey! They're wearing the new hoodie I found somewhere! What a coincidence! Also, what's Serge up to, anyway? I think I missed something!
Watching on my phone it took me way too long to figure out the gag with the eggs
I was only in chat for the first couple of segments of this one, and hoo boy was it weirder than I was expecting!!
Okay I think I mighta been around for 58:00 or so as well, because I definitely remember some "Cool Technology!"s in the chat 😂

Depends on how thick your eyelids are.
This has given me *more* to think about
"Alberta wilderness sexpert Serge"
-if there's a degree on his wall, I haven't seen it.
I think this is the episode with the most corpsing, but I'd consider that a good thing! :D
I need the shirt Ben Ulmer is wearing. That’s incredible
Yay
Ah yes, eggs: Natures egg!
No, no. I'm pretty sure it's October everywhere.
happy october
oh hey, its noseybonk
Okay, who replaced Cameron with Dave's Spokesman, in the Cold Open...?!
Rest In Pig, BigWigglesby69
Awe Crap, we forgot to wake that guy up again, and September ended!
Reminder that that song is about the depression Billie Joe Armstrong felt after the death of his father, and he's rather sick of those jokes.
