What a great home for a growing family! That basement would be perfect for a homeschool or for a stay-at-home Mom to have a day care, it would also make a wonderful art studio with all the windows, So many possibilities!
Thought the same about day care because so close to both Houlton and Hodgdon schools and right on the bus route, to save parents travel time! Lots of land for playground equipment!

It’s definitely a project for someone. It’s in need of some work to maximise its potential but beware of overspending as its location is not ideal with the road and commercial development within the vicinity and views.
I believe it’s overpriced considering the amount that needs to be spent as it’s easy to get carried away. It’s definitely not an investment property as it is.
Good luck with finding the right buyer as perhaps someone wants to attach a business to help finance this project.

It's set back far enough so a skilled gardener could create a high berm in the area in front of the driveway. Plant it with evergreen shrubs, make a rock garden with lots of spring bulbs and year round color, could be a beautiful feature that shields the house from the road and traffic noise.

Too bad the kitchen and bath need a complete update. Clean and usable yes, but ugly as sin. It's in a pretty area though.
The tile bath with 2 sinks off master bedroom I would not change but whoever buys this house, have it your way. Extra full bath in finished basement too. Lots of cabinets, 9' foot bar and 3 door refrigerator, double overs, newer stainless steel dishwasher has lots of work space. 😀
