- We visit the oldest market on Mallorca in Sineu. The market stretches picturesquely throughout the town and is a worthwhile destination.

The market in Sineu has existed since 1306 and is the oldest market in Mallorca and one of the largest. Besides the usual food and specialties, you can find handicrafts and even live animals in the market. The town of Sineu itself is located on a small hilltop and so it goes up and down the streets always passing the market stalls. Music is often played in the town squares during the market. If you want to enjoy the busy atmosphere of the market day, you can find your place in the numerous cafes and restaurants.
After spending our morning at the market, we will continue on to Santa Maria del Camí. Known for its cakes and local cuisine the perfect place to feast Mallorcan. And all this at very moderate prices. In the evening a reservation is recommended.

Diesen Ort hatte ich noch nie gehört, kommt aber auf alle Fälle auf die „Besuchsliste“ - in 42,5 Monaten werden wir mit einem Oneway-Ticket nach Mallorca ziehen, dann werden wir sehr viel Zeit haben um diese und viele andere schöne Plätze auf dieser Insel zu besuchen…

Sineu ist definitiv einen Besuch wert! Das Örtchen war einst eines der pulsierenden Zentren der Insel. König Jaume II ließ dort sogar einen Palast bauen. Heute wohl das Nonnenkloster! ;-) Also: bisschen was zu entdecken, wenn gerade nicht Markt ist! ^^

Schön, dass du wieder dabei gewesen bist! 😀 In Teguise war ich tatsächlich noch nicht auf dem Markt. Hatte ich auf der Liste, haben wir aber nicht geschafft. Nächstes Mal! 😀 Ich bin tatsächlich in der Corona-Zeit genau so viel unterwegs gewesen, wie sonst auch. Immer spontan das gemacht, was gerade ging. Immer an Vorschriften gehalten und tatsächlich bis jetzt kein Corona gehabt. Wenn du auf meinem Kanal ein bisschen blätterst, kannst du dir von den meisten Trips auch Videos anschauen. 😜

@@Sebastianontour wir waren auch in Corona-Zeiten unterwegs, aber nicht so oft und auch nicht immer da, wo wir ursprünglich hin wollten. Auch wir haben bis jetzt kein Corona gehabt, Gott sei Dank. Gewisse Vorsichtsmaßnahmen schaden auch nicht (auch, wenn sie nicht mehr vorgeschrieben sind). Es war wieder ein sehr interessantes Video. Ich wünsche Dir noch eine schöne Woche 😀
@@dorotheebrauner2871 Genau. Wenn man ein bisschen flexibel sein konnte, dann war viel möglich. Ich hab auch heute immer noch meine Maske dabei und setz sie auf, wenn es mir irgendwo zu eng ist oder zu viele Menschen sind. Schaden tut es nicht. :-)
