I have a 6 month old lilac British short hair boy and he literally is the best so relaxed I don’t think I could ever have another breed now ❤️

Your little kitten reminds me of when our lilac “bebe” was that age. she is now 1 year old and has been the greatest joy in our life. wonderful personalities and so beautiful when full grown.

How adorable! I’ve adopted a bsh a week ago. Simba is cream & so affectionate. Taking him to be microchipped today. He is a house cat but just in case he ever gets out.🐈😽😻

I’ve been wanting to get a cat from as long as I can remember! I have had 3 cats, but we had to send them for adoption as my asthma started to trigger (I’m allergic to fur and chlorine). But now my asthma has gone (apparently forever, according to doctors), so we are getting a BSH kitten. IM SO EXCITED, IVE BEEN WATCHING VIDS OF THEM FOR AT LEAST 2-3 MONTHS LEARNING ABOUT THEM!!!!

What wet food do you feed her?
do they have a certain scent? and how much they shed
I have never noticed a smell and I am very sensitive to smells. They do shed a moderate amount, normally more so in Autumn/Spring. Having said that, I barely notice any fur on my clothes which is a big plus! I've had dogs before and their fur just gets everywhere.

Hi, this is a great question! The shade for British shorthairs is called 'lilac' but it is more of a light grey. She definitely does look slightly beige in some lights though! Good luck with your new kitten!

So so cute...my bsh golden ny11 just give birth to 4 adorable baby..but 3 cannot survive...i was so broken..Now 2week just past and im hoping this baby girl can make its with me forever.

Yes I will my old cat was actually a American ragdoll so had the same thing with her. It’s just that I can’t find a good deal it’s a little bit about of budget. I wanted to get two because apparently it’s better. It keeps them more occupied

I found her on Pets4Homes! I'd suggest finding a registered GCCF breeder on there though ☺️
I got mine from the Urkrain passport and all.
They cost about $2.000.00 US dollars

My cream british shorthair is three years old now. I don't think the breeder I got him from had played with him enough as he does not like people. He will sit at my feet but really prefers to be outside in his rural environment most of the time, Pretty upsetting as not the company I had hoped for.... maybe he has more of the ancient wild genes than most. They bred domestic shorthairs with wild cats to create the british shorthair I read somewhere...

She was supposedly 11 weeks old but the vets suspect she was just 8 weeks old! Looking back, she is very small here.

Isn't royal canin one of the higher end brands?
I feed my boy Hills science plan, kitten, I'm sure royal canine is grain free, they even sell a british blue specific dry food, but I haven't checked so check as british blue are sensitive to grains/carbs

Your plants are toxic to cats:( as long as they don’t go near them it’s fine. I’ve had to remove most of my plants after learning this and buy new ones non toxic :(
