I would like to fly Air India once from JFK to HYD via Mumbai. how does the connection process work if connecting to domestic flight in India? I always flew Emirates, so wanted to try Air India for the first time
Since your flying from New York to Hyderabad via a stop in Mumbai, this is how you get from the international departures to domestic departures easily: After you get off your Mumbai flight, To get from the international arrival area in Terminal 2 to the domestic departure area in Terminal 2, follow the signs directing you to the "Transfer Facility." The distance between the international and domestic sections within Terminal 2 is relatively short, and you won't need to leave the terminal premises. Only the problem is that once I got off the Air india 777 shown here, go to the “international arrivals” baggage claim area. But this is a problem, you would need to go to the domestic departures area and “re check” in your luggage and do port of entry again because your going to Air India’s focus city Hyderabad. This includes showing your passports to the airport officer, immigration and India regulations. Another quick note is that the plane featured in this video, The Boeing 777-200LR, is a former Delta Airlines plane, registered VT-AEH, you will find a nice cabin and luxury business class.
Yes I loved Air India! I like they used a Delta 777 (I mean leased.) then their own 777s. The food was okay but I liked it! My first impressions with India were very good and historic. Here the the ratings: Seat: 6/10 Food: 7/10 View: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Comfortably: 7/10 Aircraft: 10/10 IFE: 5/10
My first time on Air India!
TIP: WATCH WITH HEADPHONES FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE!
Parked next to a 737👌
Beautiful video ❤
Thank you very much!
