great memories: we took the Glacier Express 1st class from Zermatt to Chur; lunch in the skying alps! then on to Lichtenstein and back by sleeper towards the Netherlands.

The winter season specific unique attraction could be (my personal favorite) - a long walk around and on the FROZEN lakes in Engadin region, especially the Silsersee and Silvaplanersee. If you are adventure enthusiast, try a snowkite or ice-skating on the frozen lakes or just watch and enjoy the sublime view while others perform around.
