    What do you want to know about the PD40R V3.0?
    I'll answer as best I can

      Tail switch is not mounted but felt very easy to use
      So much so that I don't want to go back to the common button type side switch flashlights...

      Does it turn on itself if stored in ruck sack? Is it more spot than flood? Are the running times Fenix reported accurate?

      It has a rotary switch with a reliable click feeling, not a push switch, so mis-lighting is very unlikely to occur.
      If you keep the PD40R in a backpack with the PD40R in the holster that comes with it, mis-lighting will be 100% avoided.
      Yes, there is a spot on the surface illuminated by this flashlight.
      And there is not much dark area on the border between the spot and the spill, so it seems brighter.
      Sorry about the run time.
      I don't own any measuring equipment so I can't measure it, but I think it's generally accurate.

      No quick access to strobe? Which flashlight would you suggest for edc with such function? Thanks

      Turning the switch vigorously to the right end instantly switches to strobe mode.
      Are you looking for an EDC flashlight with instant strobe?
      How about these flashlights?

    How long does the turbo mode last before it ramps down due to heat? Excellent overview, thanks!

      As soon as the lights started turning on, the brightness was rapidly reduced over a period of about 1 minute and 20 seconds
      Not like stairs, but like going down a steep slope
      Room temperature 22℃, no wind

    I like the simplicity of this light. But the quick ramp down is kinda a bummer. What would you pick between this and olight warrior x 4? Thx for review

      The switch feels very easy to use when used in outdoor situations
      Of course, in a tactical scene, the Warrior X 4 should have the edge

    我對這隻的要求只有1個
    雖然他有防水防塵但還是希望有隱藏式TYPE- C接口充電.....

    • @16traces
      @16traces 11 місяців тому +1

      充電口具有防水結構,保護蓋起到防塵的作用
      不過,它的防塵性能可能比隱藏式充電端口稍差一些

    What is the difference between V2 and V3?

    • @16traces
      @16traces 10 місяців тому +2

      Irradiation distance extended by approx. 100 m
      SOS mode has been added
      The switch is now less slippery when operated
      Slightly shorter charging time
      Maybe there are other differences

    How long will it deliver the full 3000?

    • @16traces
      @16traces 4 місяці тому +1

      Overheat Protection immediately reduces the brightness to protect the LEDs and the substrate
      However, you can get more than 2000lm brightness for about 1min 30sec
