In the webcomic Garou's power and speed increase with each transformation, but he slowly loose his mind, Saitama pointed this out "can't even give a proper reply huh", when Saitama said "You're weaker than before" he was referring to Garou reliant on the raw stats he gain from his transformation instead of his martial arts, the thing that allowed him to predict and counter Saitama, impressing him in the first place.
I think Garou’s “Great Power Technique,” is basically an application of the Explosive Heart and Whirlwind Iron cutting fists with its use of shockwaves to do internal damage. He kinda used a weaker version of this attack (then unnamed) against Darkshine
I suspect that Saitama's promise to stop Garou without killing him is why he hasn't used a "Serious" attack yet. From Saitama's point of view, any fight he has taken remotely seriously has ended in the immediate destruction of his opponents. It would be foolish to be careless here.

In regards to the punch, I think context has to be added, especially comparing it with boros. Saitama was excited with boros. He saw a potential challenger. With garou, he was already asked to save him from himself. As of now, he hasn't matched boros in speed or feat. I do believe though that Saitama will at some point get that surprised looked he had fighting boros though.

I think the hit he took was intentional. With the way Saitama is treating him, he might not be trying to hurt him like he did Boros. The writing and hit makes it seem more like he is just trying to get him to understand he isn't a monster and is a hero.

I think the difference between boros and garou it’s important to take into consideration when comparing them is saitama had no problems killing him he knew he was evil where as the with garou saitama asked the child if he wants him to stop him and not kill him. He could still become stronger though as the manga progresses

The cover page with Garou as a skull and the image of Saitama in front of the mountain as Garou says that Saitama is tougher than a mountain are next level and incredible work by Murata. In an amazing chapter they stand above all the rest for me.
It doesn't really make sense though destroying a mountain isn't really a great feat genos has been able to do that since season 1 of the anime and I know tatsumaki could easily do it with her psychic powers. Garou should be far ahead of a mountain level feat by now.

I'd like remind you that last chapter Saitama admitted he was going to hold back to make sure he doesn't kill Garou. Him tanking a punch doesn't mean anything, Saitama isn't trying to hurt him.
I have this idea of how they will visualize Group accepting God's power. Once he's fully beaten by Saitama his mind will flash to when he was a child and was pretending to be monster. One of the kids that beat him up will walk toward Garou and ask him if he's going to let the heroes win again. The kids skin will slowly morph to God's skin and he'll hold out his hand telling him "Let me help you back up" Garou will take his hand and when he does the scene will shift back to the fight and Garou will be in his final Monster/God form.
I think it is true though that the story is only serious when saitama isn't on screen. You have to remember the comedy aspect of OPM. I think this fight is turning out to be a balance of a good fight and true OPM fight at the same time.
martial arts is just a way to maximize the effectiveness of your available strenght and agility. Who has infinite strength and agility, does not really need any martial art, except sorta "being cool"

Saitama punched the snake hero guys on the face and that guy survived. He also punched charanco's martial art schoolmate and that guy also survived. Btw… the volcanos erupting goes back to the revised chapter 108 where Saitama is fighting Orochi. There is a scene where Orochi taps into the molten core of the earth to fight Saitama and there is a panel where you see the volcanos on the surface by the city erupting.

There's a part in the webcomic that I liked where it seemed like Saitama was excited to fight because he exclaimed, after attacking Garou, that he could keep going. He even had a smile on his face. I haven't gotten that sense yet in this fight in the manga. I sincerely hope that the fight will keep going to the point to where Saitama gets serious enough to use his serious moves.

To me, tableflip was the first surprise moment and his wings was the second while I'm reading the webcomic. That's what I was expecting to see in the manga too, but so far it's been two chapters and we still don't have any sign for tableflip... yet, we're already get to the point where he grows his wings like it's no big deal for him to keep mutating I kinda hate it for the fast pace but knowing how Murata work, I think we're gonna get a bunch of unexpected surprises in the next chapters. Finger crossed, just remember the sliced-earth surface scene, Tatsumaki twisting the city, Blast introduction, god standing in the moon... they're all just came out of nowhere and make us dropped our jaw! His ship is also from some type of metal that even Tatsumaki can't hurt much with her bombardment. Garou is nowhere near Boros.
I think it was stated that Boros is dozens of times more powerful than Garou's final form

The cover page with Garou as a skull and the image of Saitama in front of the mountain as Garou says that Saitama is tougher than a mountain are next level and incredible work by Murata. In an amazing chapter they stand above all the rest for me.
It doesn't really make sense though destroying a mountain isn't really a great feat genos has been able to do that since season 1 of the anime and I know tatsumaki could easily do it with her psychic powers. Garou should be far ahead of a mountain level feat by now.

I have this idea of how they will visualize Group accepting God's power. Once he's fully beaten by Saitama his mind will flash to when he was a child and was pretending to be monster. One of the kids that beat him up will walk toward Garou and ask him if he's going to let the heroes win again. The kids skin will slowly morph to God's skin and he'll hold out his hand telling him "Let me help you back up"
Garou will take his hand and when he does the scene will shift back to the fight and Garou will be in his final Monster/God form.

I think it is true though that the story is only serious when saitama isn't on screen. You have to remember the comedy aspect of OPM. I think this fight is turning out to be a balance of a good fight and true OPM fight at the same time.

There's a part in the webcomic that I liked where it seemed like Saitama was excited to fight because he exclaimed, after attacking Garou, that he could keep going. He even had a smile on his face. I haven't gotten that sense yet in this fight in the manga. I sincerely hope that the fight will keep going to the point to where Saitama gets serious enough to use his serious moves.

To me, tableflip was the first surprise moment and his wings was the second while I'm reading the webcomic. That's what I was expecting to see in the manga too, but so far it's been two chapters and we still don't have any sign for tableflip... yet, we're already get to the point where he grows his wings like it's no big deal for him to keep mutating
I kinda hate it for the fast pace but knowing how Murata work, I think we're gonna get a bunch of unexpected surprises in the next chapters. He didn't get weaker, he just lost his martial arts which is the thing help him caught up with Saitama, that why Saitama said he getting "weaker", it's not literally mean he weaker in strength, he definately far stronger but his strike was less more effective against Saitama, and competitive with Saitama in strength would be an instant L for anyone
