    Amazing jig! Using sandpaper to keep the pieces from moving is brilliant

    I am soooo excited to see this. I have recently retired from work and wanted to do Kumiko as a side gig. But unfortunately I had a stroke making my right side mostly paralized. So, cutting the Kumiko pieces was almost impossible for me. However, seeing this jig has given me hope. Thanks for making and sharing this amazing idea.

      Hope this works well for you Chuck. I'm not quite at the retired stage, but I too have wanted to dabble several areas of woodworking, including Kumiko.

      Thanks so much. I hope this jig will help you to continue your woodworking. I plan to do a video about my new Kumiko grid-cutting jig that'll work on the miter saw by the end of the year. That jig will help you even more. Thanks for watching.

    What kind of wood do you use for brown color? Is it termo?

    Just purchased the plans. Great work as usual.
    I found the knobs and inserts on Amazon and I already have the clamps.
    Woodcraft has the Miter Slider SE. The Incra site is less but that's plus shipping.
    Can you suggest sources for the router bits please? Maybe suggest sources for the hardware in the plans.

      I used to order from www.toolstoday.com

    Could I have some info on your router? Brand, HP etc. Also on your plate adjustment (?)

    • @WoodArtStudio1
      @WoodArtStudio1  Рік тому

      I use the Incra router lift made by Jessem. The router is Milwaukee brand with three hp, but I recommend 1.5 or 1 3/4 hp. It's good to see you in this comment section again. 😄

    Where did you get the router bits from and what are they called? Struggling to find them for a 1/4 or 1/2 inch router
