So someone said that they can't get behind this book because it's so descriptive and doesn't let you create questions as to what is going on, but personally I like the writing style, I can clearly imagine what's going on.

The “racing to the finish line” description excellently summarises the feeling I had with one of my January books, as it jumped from scene to scene. The characters were at one destination that spoke specifically to my particular niche interests and I was like, “oh yeah, here We GO!” … and then stuff happened and minutes later they’ve left and moved on to somewhere else 🫨 I be like, “wait, hold up, slow down, what about all the things…” with much hand-waving at the scene. Really enjoyed the story, but don’t tease me briefly like that, book, I am here for the journey not just the action-scene wham-bam, IYKWIM.

I personally had trouble picturing the world of “Mosima” it took me a while to figure out it was underground lol

Hahah that's fair! I imagined it like the elf underground city in the Hobbit movies (I remember one scene with Legolas),

This is not spoiler free. You went through the first couple chapters.

Sorry if you didn't want to know anything - it's rather hard to do a review not mentioning anything that happens in the book so I usually stick to what was mentioned in the synopsis or the first couple of chapters as I don't consider anything under first 20% as spoilers as it's usually in the synopsis.
