I owned this bag and really liked it. The dedicated laptop pouch is by far the best laptop sleeve on any bag Ive used. The dedicated glasses pouch is silly tho. Who puts sunglasses in a bag without being in a hard case? This bag stands up on its own and it’s amazing. However, this bag doesn’t have a key leash. Huge oversight. It also has this weird mesh pouch on the strap for holding a phone but it would probably only hold a flip phone. This always made me feel like the bag hadn’t been updated in many years. There are also so many small side pockets that it’s really hard to remember what the heck is in each pocket. The bag is super durable. Great bag but had a few issues that bugged me enough that I returned it and rocked a 511 Rush 12. Also not a perfect bag. But I do like it.
I had my Renegade since Jan 2016 and just started noticing some issues . One of the zippers came off of track, and some of the teeth are all bend to heck and back ( on one of the side pockets), and the zipper portion of the main compartment is starting to fray, so little strands of material is giving me small issues at times, with closing the bag. It also developed a small hole on the bottom (about the size of a bic pen barrel), which will only grow in size over time. This hole is near the RSS system, where a pen wouldnt even go, so how a hole got there, I have no idea.. Thankfully, after talking to a CSR at Ogio, they are sending me a warranty replacement. Which is awesome considering how much I love this bag. It is my primary, go to bag, for everything.
Sounds like pretty good customer support / after sales service. I am looking for a bag for my new laptop. I just got to know about ogio few minutes ago after stumbled on a youtube video featuring the backpack.
Nitric you wont be disappointed. It is a tad on the end for price range, but of all the backpacks I have or had, this is the one I use the most and have had the longest and yep, the customer service was awesome. I had to send in the old bag once I got my new one so my credit card wouldn’t be charged (standard procedure to get a credit card number in case the replacement comes and people keep the old one as well)> Aside from a few small differences, the old one and the new one haven’t changed all that much...why change something that works right :)
@@Towerr72 Yes indeed & agreed. Hows the shoulder straps? are they well padded for long hours of carry? I am thinking for Black Ember Citadel R2 Modular and now the Ogio. I already sent an email to Ogio asking for a shipping cost estimates to Malaysia (shipping sometimes can cost a great deal and that's excluding the tax). I think USD159 for a good bag is worth the while (Black Ember citadel is even more expensive). My concern is not really on the price of the bag (which to me is pretty reasonable) but the additional shipping cost and tax. These 2 can really skyrocket the total cost.
Nitric I can only imagine those added costs . I usually only carry it with one strap , I haven’t used both straps on either models so I guess I don’t have it jammed with stuff but the straps are fairly well padded , and the back also has extra padded bumps as well , along with a pass through for luggage pole thingies (the name escapes me )
@@Towerr72 I just received replies from Black Ember. The citadel R2 has a suspended laptop compartment that is big enough to accomodate the legion 7i. Maybe i shall just wait for the reply from Ogio. I can't wait too long as BE is having a 35% discount right now and they can't tell me how long this discount is going to last.
One of the few professionally done review without a hard sell.
One of my favorite videos on the backpack!
Thanks! That's really nice to hear 😊💪🏼👍🏼
Ooh baby love the smooth slow motion shots 🤤😍
Love you!
This backpack is looking awesome! Great review!! 👍👍
Love this bag
Thank you

this is a great video
It is not suitable for travel or for everyday use ?
It is, very suitable because it is very comfortable and protects your laptop really well!
