I wanted to thank everyone for how sweet and respectful you always are in here! But I also wanted to tell you a bit more about how I met Kasia and how I realized she's perfect for a video in here. I did a makeup course with Kasia's good friend Monic ( whom I hope I can have in a video as well) and Monic recommended me to Kasia. Then I did a makeup course with Kasia but I never actually thought she's 57 ( at that time) because I didn't dare to ask ! Then we exchanged IGs and I saw her kids and realized they're just a bit younger than me ! That's when I proposed her to come here and never in a million years thought she'd accept it because she is a very busy woman and she travels a lot. It took us about four months to find a date when we were both in Paris and that was November 7th. I'm so happy that we finally did this video together! Kasia has the sweetest personality, you can talk to her about everything and I think her positive energy comes through. Thank you so much Kasia and thank you ladies for watching this !

Dear Andreaa, this is a beautiful make up and a beautiful lady! BUT, and this is my critism, she is a little bit too perfect as to the problems women over 50 do have. Our problems are (not all mine :D) discoloration, sagging jowls, reduced lip volume, hollowed eyes, droopy eye lids and dark circles around the eyes. And we are quite irritated how to handle or cover these signs of aging when doing our make up. It is not always about the wrinkles but we lose the tightening of the skin which makes make up difficult. Unfortunately, this lady seems to have fillers and she hasn't got one of the problem items I described above. Her skin is a beautiful canvas for a beautiful make up but I do not think that her status is very representative for us eldery women. :(
Nicole Vollmer I couldn’t agree more with you! This woman is definitely not representative of 58year old women. She also obviously has Botox and fillers, her forehead does not move at all and her lips seem distorted. Andrea should have chosen another model for this tutorial.

But I think that the majority of woman over 50 simply have other and more issues necessary to talk about in a make up tutorial for mature skin. Hopefully, this is seen as objective criticm and just for Andreea to know that her audience 40 or 50 plus needs something different.
I love your tutorials Andrea! And I always learn something about make up. As a 59 year-old I do appreciate your doing this video, but I would really love for you to make a new one on this topic (mature skins) with a model with a realistic over-50 skin, with all the usual flaws, wrinkles, dark circles and sun damage. It's so nice to see makeup for a mature face for a change. I'm 50 years old and my face has changed drastically in the past 5 to 10 years and I feel I don't know how to do my makeup anymore. I've been watching video after video without anything really working for me but now I'm definetely going to try a similar makeup as this one and see if it works for me. I can assure you there is absolutely nothing on her skin. It is true she doesn’t seem like she ever struggled with acne or pigmentation. She also mentained her weight for many years.

Fabulous look. I am 66 and find applying more difficult. Not to much and not getting it in my wrinkles but at the same time getting the right finish. My main issue is around my eyes.

Thank you Andrea and Kasia. She mentioned in the video that she's had big lips since she was a baby. Why can't we accept that women can be beautiful and age gracefully and naturally. We are our greatest critics. She obviously takes care of herself. I am 55 and do not look my age same either do my two older sisters. I have had no botox or lip fillers but I do take care of myself - I moisturise regularly, give myself facials and massage and loooove makeup.

I LOVED this video. I feel this is one I may watch many times. As a mature woman of 57, I found this very helpful and I have been inspired to try and replicate what you have done here. While I could only dream of looking as beautiful as Kasia, I believe the intention of your video was to show us how to look like better versions of ourselves, and truly believe you have helped me do that. If I did not already have the same or similar products I have since sought them out and have applied these using the tecniques you show (to the best of my ability). Many videos aimed at makeup for mature women are complex and use many, many products, which is unachievable unless you are either a makeup artist or have many hours to achieve. Your video is easy to follow and you use a reasonable amount of products. Thanks to you I am leaving my house in the morning feeling happy that I am making the best of myself, with a minimal makeup look. Thank you Xx

I wouldn't have attempted quite that much lumonizing without your guidance. Perhaps you'll consider one day showing us how you select just the right makeup tones for the eyes. Initially I thought Kasia and I had similar skin tones but when I (immediately) looked into the Laura Mercier caviar eye stick, I began to realize you're have the ability to colours in ways that I don't quite understand yet. Skin tones for foundation, yes. But you've shown me that skin tones for eye makeup matter just as much. Please show us more. Many thanks for your wonderful videos, my dear.
Oh, my goodness. She looks stunning, about 30 years old! I hope someday you do a video for someone in the late 60s. My skin stayed pretty great until about 65. There’s baggy under eyes now, even a bag on inner upper lids and the neck is crepey. Those are my new challenges. I do pretty well well with camouflage but it seems like so much work. I’m definitely going to try this look though. Her coloring and features are very similar to mine. She looks fabulous!

And thanks also for the additional comments above, which I found to be quite helpful . . . especially the part about "less quantity of everything". I just turned 66 and have more than my fair share of wrinkles and dull-looking skin. But I have always enjoyed wearing makeup, something I picked up from my mother who is now 90 years young and still wears makeup almost every day. The only point I noticed when you tightlined her upper eyelids avd between lashes her eyes appeared smaller, so wonder how they'd look not tightlining? I think slightly bigger. By time all make up was done that was hardly noticeable. I think you should do more in this age group so many ladies e.g. Jo Lo 51, Lisa Eldridge 53, etc are this age. Thank you Andrea and Kasia. She mentioned in the video that she's had big lips since she was a baby. Why can't we accept that women can be beautiful and age gracefully and naturally. We are our greatest critics. She obviously takes care of herself. I am 55 and do not look my age same either do my two older sisters. I have had no botox or lip fillers but I do take care of myself - I moisturise regularly, give myself facials and massage and loooove makeup.

I LOVED this video. I feel this is one I may watch many times. As a mature woman of 57, I found this very helpful and I have been inspired to try and replicate what you have done here. While I could only dream of looking as beautiful as Kasia, I believe the intention of your video was to show us how to look like better versions of ourselves, and truly believe you have helped me do that. If I did not already have the same or similar products I have since sought them out and have applied these using the tecniques you show (to the best of my ability). Many videos aimed at makeup for mature women are complex and use many, many products, which is unachievable unless you are either a makeup artist or have many hours to achieve. Your video is easy to follow and you use a reasonable amount of products. Thanks to you I am leaving my house in the morning feeling happy that I am making the best of myself, with a minimal makeup look. Thank you Xx

Perhaps you'll consider one day showing us how you select just the right makeup tones for the eyes.
Initially I thought Kasia and I had similar skin tones but when I (immediately) looked into the Laura Mercier caviar eye stick, I began to realize you're have the ability to colours in ways that I don't quite understand yet.
Skin tones for foundation, yes. But you've shown me that skin tones for eye makeup matter just as much. Please show us more.

Oh, my goodness. She looks stunning, about 30 years old! I hope someday you do a video for someone in the late 60s. My skin stayed pretty great until about 65. There’s baggy under eyes now, even a bag on inner upper lids and the neck is crepey. Those are my new challenges. I do pretty well well with camouflage but it seems like so much work. I’m definitely going to try this look though. Her coloring and features are very similar to mine. She looks fabulous!

I am quite new to your channel and wanted to thank you for this beautiful tutorial. And thanks also for the additional comments above, which I found to be quite helpful . . . especially the part about "less quantity of everything". I just turned 66 and have more than my fair share of wrinkles and dull-looking skin. But I have always enjoyed wearing makeup, something I picked up from my mother who is now 90 years young and still wears makeup almost every day. Just found your channel - appreciate your light hand on bronzers, contour, etc for fair skin. I am 61 and enjoyed this video alot. She must have stayed out of the sun. I’ve just found you tonight and what a fabulous job you’ve done. I know it doesn’t hurt when your model is absolutely perfect, she has alabaster skin without a flaw , she’s also got a beautiful straight nose and has beautiful eyes and even beautiful ears. Not Fair !!

Beautiful classy lady who has natural charm and radiance, your make up Andrea was perfect for her. She has lovely skin. The only point I noticed when you tightlined her upper eyelids avd between lashes her eyes appeared smaller, so wonder how they'd look not tightlining? I think slightly bigger. By time all make up was done that was hardly noticeable.
I think you should do more in this age group so many ladies e.g. Jo Lo 51, Lisa Eldridge 53, etc are this age.
