    I am really loving this approach to wood carving. It has its own feel to it and the aspect of life it brings out is contagious. Seeing some of the master pieces makes me think of new tools I may have to create to even TRY to come up with similar feels and design. Bravo... I say Bravo... Wish I had the ability to go and learn in this school.

    There was a statement that you need 10 years experience to make a living at woodcarving but judging from the standard of the work being created by the graduating students, every one of them could be making thousands right now if they opened an Etsy store.

    Amazing and interesting video, however the background music is more appropriate for rodeo appreciation than woodcarving.

    When you think that you are really good at doing something, remember that there are at least a thousand of Chinese who do it much better than you hahaha

    Being excessively over-bearing where it is obvious that your primary concern is to stay on top of things above all else, speaks of motivations driven by fear. Such as the fear of having toes stepped on, or being trampled underfoot even. If human nature or society truly warranted such approaches to life, a good question to ask is why hasn't EVERYONE adopted such methods. All too common as they are, such personalities are not all-pervasive either. So that my point is, are these qualities a product of internal realities that such personalities reflect out onto the external world? Or are they truly justified? Wouldn't it be interesting to once and for all, measure the efficacy of being bossy and over bearing, with regards to actual performance and results. But then again, it is not just end product that must be kept in check, but time, resources and flow of activity or progress. Being pushed over the edge by former subordinates who have advanced their way to the top, as you have stayed put because there is no where else you can go but down, is of course a preoccupation that has shadowed the rise and fall of whole civilizations. But if only....

      +weewilly2007 What does your rant have to do with woodcarving?

    • @weewilly2007
      @weewilly2007 8 років тому

      nothing aside from the fact that it involves humans, that's what my "rant" was focused on
