Love this chanel and love Old School. No matter where going, in the middle of nothing with an internet conexión, there we´ll be allways ready to play a game, until the day of dead. Best regards to all the Magiciens
If you're not in Sweden you can usually buy reprints, which are orders of magnitude cheaper. Check out Timmy's video on the different old school rule sets for details.
It's an interesting deck for sure. You can play it in two different ways, more controlling and more aggro. I like to play the more controlling variant, but it also works great with 4 flying men and some vices.
Hi Jean, I have lived for 1 year in Yangon, but I am now living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. But for work I have to travel to Yangon sometimes. Maybe nice to meet and play some old school magic when visiting. And thanks Thomas for all the cool matches, certainly during these strange times.
Hello @Bas ! It's Jean from the match here. How interesting! I planned to go to HCM to check out in April - before the Pandemic. I stay in Yangon so please hit me up if you'rearound it would be fantastic to have some games and meet up! You can send me a message anytime.
Hi Jean, yes lets see how this virus plays out and I will let you know when I am coming to Yangon. Same, let me know when you would be visiting Ho Chi Minh City. All the best and stay safe.
If i have one recommendation, is to show some of the key cards in big on the side, for example Underworld and flash counter. Otherwise, very enjoyable as always ;)
Good point. I'm going with a RB version with both chain lightning and terror, leaving out blue (also for budget reasons :P). Also like the extra burn - fits well with the gameplan imo.
Hi Gomcse, I’m sure it’s all good. It can sometimes seem unclear even to me what exactly is going on when I record my commentary. I play it at double speed without the original audio. I do know that we also discuss everything together in a chill OS way :D This game became pretty complicated at a certain point. If you have a time stamp for me I can have a look if you’d like. 🤟
@@TimmytheSorcerer .at 22:40 he Recalls all of his artifacts, including 2 Black Vice. You comment, "I'm actually taking damage but didn't have to..." It cost you the match.

Counter Burn seems like a deck made for me. Might go on ebay and see if I can get reasonably priced Vintage cards.

Maybe one of the best game i saw in this channel!
I agree, these games were so close.
Awesome decks! Thanks for posting.
Great match! UR Counter-Burn and Parfait are the two OS decks I own. This reminded me of my typical gameplay.
That's sweet. I actually have a parfait deck as well. Once you have the parfait train going it's so sweet.
Thanks for the fantastic matches Timmy, always such a pleasure to play with you! Very glad to watch this video :D

Great games! Both decks I want to tinker with in the future.
Underworld Dreams is such an interesting card to brew with. It's got control all over and the three black make it a nice challenge.
Sick play there by Jean at the end
Nice matchup! Both very cool decks! And what a sweet finish 😄
Thanks Jorgo 👍
Last game... so close! Awesome decks
You using Skype to play these games?
I play in Whereby mostly
Timmy the Sorcerer
Just joined a Facebook page and looks like everyone uses that. I’ve never tried it.

I assume you’re using a separate camera from the one built into your computer? 🤔

My man Jean!! Thanks for the wonderful games, looking forward to play many more.
How would the Underworld Dreams deck deal with a deck that is more creature heavy? I don't see a lot of removal or blocking in there.

Great finale!
Thnx Thom 🙌
I really like the main deck Energy Flux!
To be fair, you won game 3 because you incorrectly reduced your life total to a Vice that didn't exist. Fun games!
😂
Nope he didn't?. He changed to 11 than immediately back to 13.
@@OldSkooolGamer he even says in the video that he mistakenly reduced his life total. Timmy Talks, can you confirm?
