@@captain.automatik Follow not the result but progress of gpt. As an entrepreneur, I can see huge steps toward deep understanding the context for my business purpose and its resolving in automation marketplace sales and i give max 1-2 years for junior developers and maybe 5 for middle ones. imho

But in fact, in order to learn, these AI need to be fed a tremendous amount of code. So it was given open-source code which is mainly stackoverflow, smaller projects or documentation code. All the super complex and truly usefull code belongs to business companies and is private. So while its learning potential is huge, the "code-food" it is given is too poor in quality (or too simple) to be able to build, a fully-fledged application. The thing it can do is to understand and help you debug your code faster. Or write boilerplate code so that you gain time. Developers will keep their job for quite a long time before getting thrown away, imo.
