Bonnie..thanks for all you do..you are an inspiration.. I am a Prek teacher in a public school in Louisiana for 30 years. And God has granted me the privilege of teaching 31 this year.. I very strongly believe that God is going to protect me from this pandemic..I am a quilter and sometimes I need a ‘me’ time and you are my ‘go to person’. Thanks and God bless
I just love that I'm your 'go to'!! Makes me smile!! Yes, we get to serve our community in the midst of this virus. I am proud to be able to do something to make others' lives a blessing. I have so much respect for law enforcement and military, and I feel like I can sacrifice and serve in my way. You are a blessing to those little ones and I know you are asking God to protect you while you serve, as well. I tell people when they ask me if I'm scared being in the public, "I'm ready to meet my maker at any time."
I love that you share so much of your life. I'm going to look into the oils....my hubby has stage 4 cancer, and maybe that will help both of us. Thank you for giving so much of yourself in your videos! Much love ...PS I live in Alexandria Indiana where the Gaithers have their recording studio and recently closed shop/restaurant. They're good people!!
I enjoy all of your videos ❤️🙏🏽. When you end your videos it gives me hope. I pray that God be with you and keep you safe. When I get down and out, I find myself singing remembered hymns. It makes me have energy to move on. Thank you for sharing.
I live 11 miles from Alexandria Indiana where Bill Gaither has his studio and home. I’m a huge Gaither Vocal Band fan and have met with them many times. Unfortunately there little café closed a couple of years ago but it was a great place to eat and shop and mingle with the Gaither group from time to time.
While having a cuppa and watching your video today here in SA, i thought of the beautiful chorus "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of the earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace." I relate to so much of what you shared. Hugs across the miles from a stitchy sister.
Hi Bonnie! Glad to see your video up and sorry for the troubles you have had with both of your channels. One of my best friends, who lives in Texas, also is a distributor for Young Living oils and also swears by them. Her boys have had so many skin issues and allergy issues since birth so she has done a lot of research on them also. She has had her faith tested and is trying so hard to stay positive right now since they have basically had to have their home, which they bought used and been in about 3 years, nearly completely rebuilt due to mold issues. The plumbing was done incorrectly when the previous owner had it so there was so much water damage that it was even corroding the cement pillars. The boys had toxic mold issues and were to the point that they could not walk some days, their skin felt like it was on fire. They are 11 and 13 years old and gave up all their recreational and pleasure activities because it hurt too much including swimming, running track, etc. They have moved 13 times since April as they were mainly house sitting for people or staying in friend's rental houses until they were rented out. This whole situation has sent them several hundred thousands of dollars in debt and they have no clue how they are going to pay for what needs to be done, and they cannot stay there with missing walls, limited running water (to 1 toilet and 1 sink only so they have a toilet and sink while they are doing work there to try to save costs), and someone finally started a GoFundMe page for them to try to help out. Through all of this, they have tried to stay positive and know that God has bigger plans for them but at times are having a difficult time staying positive. Anyhow, I would be very interested to listen to more about YL oils, how you use them, successes, trials, etc. I hope you are feeling somewhat better now. I am so concerned about the harm that can be done to this country yet before we get a different president and how long it will take our new president to undue so many of the environmental damages that have been done. This week has been a rough one for me as my uncle died from Covid on Sunday and his daughter has been extremely ill with Covid and wanted to die but think we finally got her turned around in the last day or 2 and she finally is on meds for Covid, had my second nerve ablation on Thursday. Thankfully I have nothing to do until Tuesday afternoon! My daughter is going for a second look at a home about 8 miles from her, so keep your fingers crossed and say prayers for us that the Lord will show us the way to find a home. Thank you for always sharing your authentic self with all of your viewers. It really is appreciated so much and you always bring me Joy Nevertheless. Keep safe and happy stitching.
Enjoyed your video! Because He Lives is a great song, I like to listen to worship music too! Watching Flosstube is hard when you see all the pretty projects and want to go buy, lol. When I saw Blackbird Designs Early Christmas Morning last week I had to have it, got it yesterday and so happy I did, its beautiful! Blessings to you!
Hi Bonnie, Thanks for another great video. I always enjoy them; especially the ones about quilts! I love cross stitch too though ;-) Thank you for sharing your work. For those of us who love needle and thread, it’s such a joy! I understand how you felt after the election; I was also very distressed, and so I prayed to God. This is what I read. Psalm 94 v14-15 For the Lord will not forsake His people; He will not abandon His heritage; For justice will return to the righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow It. Nothing is impossible for our God, and so we leave all in His capable hands.🙏🏻
Thank you for your encouragement and sharing those verses! Yes, He is in control, always...always. Just feels like life is totally out of control right now. We pray, stand for what is right in His eyes and He will strengthen us and provide no matter what. That is good!! Glad you love both types of videos. Needle and thread is such a great way to stitch and keep our hands busy with something beautiful.
Hello Bonnie, loved your Floss Tube update today, thank you for sharing your ideas and beautiful pieces with us. I love that you share a variety of mediums because I love crochet, wool appliqué, fabric appliqué, embroidery (especially Crabapple patterns that I color with crayons), and cross stitch. In the past I have also dabbled In macrame, crewel embroidery, and punch needle. I’m a bit of a needlework nut. Thank you for all you do to keep us inspired. Rest assured, all your work in producing a video for us is appreciated more than you could know.
I appreciate this so much!! I'm sorry for the delay, but I value your continued support and encouragement. I am so amazed at this sweet little community within UA-cam and am so uplifted from the comments and watching other FlossTubers. Wow, you have your hand in lots of projects, like me. I just wish I had ore time in the day!!!!
Oh my girl! I just love your videos and always stay for the end. In my opinion, the encouragement you share is the best part. It seems we have the same struggles, yet also share a hope for the same future. Your honesty about it all is refreshing and hilarious. When you shared on a past video about cussing, I was just nodding my head 😂 😂😂.
Ahh!! Yes, kindred spirits at Anne of Green Gables would say and Sisters in Christ! Thank you for your encouragement to keep sharing my struggles and my joy in Christ. He is so faithful and true in the midst of deception, challenges and sorrow!
Great video love 💕 all your wips and new charts! I’m so excited about the chart I won 🙌! I love 💕 the way you organized your floss! Great stash and fabric choices. I love to listen to music when I’m down help me feel better! Prayer 🙏 is the best medicine! Have a great evening and happy stitching 🧵😊💕🤗
Thanks for another uplifting podcast. I also like Sounds Like Reign and Tiny Notes From Home...what a sweet family. Yes ! God is in control!!! 💗 Blessings from Illinois
I do a lot of piddling around. It’s rather comforting. Love you stitching. Choices of patterns, floss and fabric. Of course my eyes always stray to the beautiful quilt behind you!! I think people who are totally aware of what’s happening and know it’s not going to slow down are at times finding it quite hard to deal with it. My continued faith keeps me going. I do worry about my kids and grandchildren. It’s frustrating to realize these people do not care about families. Power and greed is it for them. God is always near. See you next time😊
I'm sorry for my delay in responding, Sara! I appreciate your encouragement and continued support through your comments. It makes so much difference as I think about those who I share with, yet can't see. I love this little community. Yes, the stress of the current situation just continues and I worry so much about my kids and what the future holds. So glad we know Jesus holds our future and He will strengthen and guide us!
I always enjoy your floss tube & forthrightness! I am new to stitching as in just a few months. I use the Floss Away bags, but I really like the way you can remove one thread from the thread drops. So what I am going to try to do is place the floss for a project on drops & when the project is done, place them back in the bags for storage. I am using the floss bitties from Fat Quarter Shop that are plastic. Then I put a sticker on the back of the plastic drop with the floss name or number plus the symbol in the project. I don't have a lot of projects going at once, so this works for me.
I'm sorry to be so long in replying!! Thank you so much for your encouragement. I really like doing the videos as if I was just talking with a friend here in my room. I do open up alot and I find the value in having my friends do that as well when we chat, so I'm glad you're valuing what I share. Yes, I do love the floss bags, but am now venturing into the thread drops, but I don't always want to take the time to get them prepped. The bags are fast!
Bonnie!! Thank you for sharing so authentically - not only about the sewing and stitching - but also sharing about where you draw your strength! Amen!! Jesus is my Savior, too! He is my all in all! I will be praying for you as you continue your videos. It’s all beautiful!! Blessings!!
I adore you!! You are the real deal. I am also cross stitching again after many years of quilting. I listened to your video about the item you use to be able to stitch with great light and I bought it all. Then because I am obsessed with floss I bought the complete set all all new DMC floss and complete set of all Cosmos’s floss and I organized them just like you. You helped me finally have the right products and set up and I am so excited to stitch. Also I love Jesus too. He is my Savior and my friend. Thanks for making the past couple of months nicer.❤️
I'm sorry for my long delay in responding!! I'm so glad you are part of my stitching family and give me so much support!!! Wow...what a great treasure with your DMC and Cosmos floss collection. I'm glad I could inspire you on a great way to store it. I truly love collecting and looking at my supplies. Just flipping through my 'wheel' of flosses makes me happy!!
I enjoyed seeing your thanksgiving projects. And also enjoyed seeing your haul. I have several of those books also. I love kathy schmitz’s embroidery designs. I enjoy your flosstube and am glad you do them. I know they are a lot of work but you always cheer me up and we need that so much these days. I’ve made many of those rice bags. I usually make them in a rectangle shape to use on the neck or shoulders, and a 5 inch square that I keep in the freezer. It works great for a burn or bruise and doesn’t freeze the skin like ice can. My grandkids know where they are and get them out when they get a boo boo. Happy thanksgiving.
I just love those rice bags!! Sometimes I get cold when I'm on the computer, like I am now, and warm one up to sit on my lap....kinda like when Riley sits on my lap and keeps me warm. Thanks for your support and encouragement!!
You are such a blessing 💕. God heals all, this is your ministry. I'm glad you have been brought to my life. Worship music is amazing, try Lauren Daigle her music is amazing.
I'm sorry for the delay in responding!! Yes, I love, love Lauren Daigle. Once I found her, I bought all her music on ITubes. Now I'm loving her Christmas Album. I'm so glad you found me, also and I am grateful I can share in this platform from the comfort of my happy spot and share my heart and faith with so many people I would never have known if not for UA-cam. God bless you, Jenette and thank you for being part of my stitching family!!
Love all of your WIPS. Your Afghan is so so pretty. Love that Color. I use Double Crochet in my Afghans. I am thinking of making a Granny Square Afghan. I bought some Varigated Blue Cake Yarn at Hobby Lobby last Friday - 2 Of them and I am thinking of making a Granny Square Afghan out of the yarn. Right now I am making a Afghan using Double Crochet Stitch out of Baby Yarn. It is for me. Love your organizing set up. You may also want to check out another Beautiful Christian Pianist. His name is Dino Kartsonakis. His wife is a Beautiful Singer. He is on Face Book Live every Tuesday Night and every Sunday Morning on his Dino Fan Page on Face Book. He posts his Live Shows on You Tube. He is super fantastic and his wife is too. I got to meet him in person back in the 80’s. I keep all of my patterns and Pattern Books in plastic Tubs with the lids on them. The only fancy Floss I use is GAST. That is it. Happy Stitching ❤️XX❤️
I'm sorry for the long delay in responding! I used to do double crochet and guess I switched to single so it would stay tighter, but I want to get back into some of the crochet patterns I used to do. My Mom and I made one that was like lace and it is so beautiful, though not a warm one because of all the open spaces. I had purchased some baby yarn for Mom because she loved stitching with the softness and wanted to stitch for her 'future' great grand children which are still not here. I love that she could still crochet and was thinking of the children that could come. Yes, plastic is so versatile and easy to see what's inside. Love it!
Love your video. Just to look at your beautiful quilts and stitching projects in the background is a treat! I also love the little 9patch/snowball quilt with the little bear.
That is a very smart tip you just gave on just putting a few strands of floss for your kit because I end up buying multiple colors of floss because I have so many things kitted up. Thank you so much Bonnie, God bless and have a great happy Thanksgiving 🦃💞
I love Jack Gibbs also and have been watching him from here in WA. So glad to know we are likeminded sisters in Christ. That verse from 1 Thessalonians is one of my favorites. I think you mentioned GriefShare before and it’s a verse that is often cited in that program. It’s a great reminder. So as anxious as this year has made me also I am choosing to be thankful for the Holy Spirit steering me towards the truth amidst a year full of untruths. God bless and Happy Thanksgiving!
Isn't it so awesome that you can listen to my pastor no matter the distance! He is so passionate about God's Truth. Yes, I have talked about Grief Share and how much I learned about processing grief and being able to move forward with my life and work through the emotions. It's so freeing! Thanks for watching!!
Oh thank you! It's funny how I decide on fabrics, it's not a logical, color wheel choice, it's an emotional choice. If it makes me feel happy, I go for it. Not a good way to choose too many things in life, but with fabric...it's safe!
Another follower of Sounds Like Reign - Lindsay’s voice stirs my spirit and I love the truth in the old hymns she sings! Another nice visit friend - lovely stitching! Blessings from Nebraska!
May God bless you and your family! Thank you for sharing your faith and beautiful stitching. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. I had to go check out Threadworks Primitives for that darling Thanksgiving pin pillow. 🧡
My mom also sewed with pins in her mouth so naturally I did too! One day when my son was little I was sewing and happened to look over at him. He had carefully lined his whole mouth with pins! At the time it was scary but now I look back many years later and just laugh 🤭 Thank you for sharing your love of Christ. I don’t know what I would do without him. Happy stitching
I'm sorry I'm so late in responding! I read your comment weeks ago and just got distracted. I can just imagine what he must have looked like! It just feels so natural to stick those pins and needles between my lips!! But, I am enjoying the needle minders. I catch myself starting to lift my hand to put the needle between my lips and then I stop and pop it on the needle minder.
Hey girlfriend! Finally got to sit a stitch quietly this evening and visit with you. I love your idea of the Mayte finished sheet protectors! Ooooo..... gonna go to Amazon snd get me some of those. Great video!
Oh, sweet friend. I'm so sorry to hear about the sadness in your family. I can read it just fine, so no worries! I'm glad I could be a happy spot in your evening as you sit to stitch and refresh. I sure enjoyed learning more about your dear farmhouse in your last video. Isn't it fun to step into the lives of our flosstube friends and see what we are each up to and share in the joy of our stitching as well as our lives?
Bonnie... As I’m listening & stitching, kinda, The word Brave Heart ♥️ keto coming to me, you are a Brave soul, vulnerable & so sweet... such a pleasure, always , watching your videos.🌷 Your encouragement is so genuine & for that I say, Thank you for all the info you gave tonight , I appreciated it much. I downloaded Laurie’s book , & shared it with others. 💛 Blessings ~ Bonnie ♥️🌹🙏🇺🇸🙏🇮🇱
I'm so sorry for the long delay in responding. Thank you so much for your encouragement about being a Brave Heart with Keto. It sure is hard right now with all the wonderful holidays and the stress in the world. It's a fight to keep that darn sugar out of my life, but it helps alot now that my husband is back on track with me. Glad you got the book. I keep reminding myself to Keep My Eyes on Jesus and not on the Storm!!
I like to have my fabric rolled up after I iron out the wrinkles. I roll it on the either paper towel roll or a pool noodle that i cut to size. I add a label on the fabric for the pattern it is used. In the pattern I note the fabric on a sticky note sheet.
I'm going to work on that problem again this evening. It's a killer, I spent so much time figuring out how to edit it, that I am hoping I can make a way for it to be able to upload. If not, I will re-record it. Let's pray I can learn how to resolve the issue and move forward with the fun editing things I can do!! I'm glad you value those videos!!
You are so inspirational. Thank you, for sharing so openly. Following the Lord every day has been my lifeline during these Crazy times. He is in Control, for that I'm sure. I'm stitching Little Women by Primitive Hare for Joy Nevertheless Sal. I need to put that project up on my Instagram. Thank you for bringing such joy this evening. Love your projects. I'm using thread drops. I use to use floss bags but changed. You have a beautiful week. Happy Thanksgiving. 😀
I just looked at the pattern you're working on and it is so sweet!! I have always loved that book and some of the movies made from it. I listened to an audio version recently as well. Such a precious story! Glad you're stitching along with me! Work has been pretty tiring, so I haven't gotten as much stitching as I would like. I'm looking forward to it this holiday weekend. Yes, Christ is our Solid Rock and He can strengthen us to endure with a smile on our face in spite of the storm. Sometimes that smile comes easy, and other times it's a challenge. You bring that smile to my face now!
Hi Bonnie, I did get Instagram installed, it's still new to me and I have yet to figure it out. I will join you in the SAL (joy nevertheless) regardless if I can do instagram, my project will be "Begin by Bent Creek." My Mom would have loved this project. I will be spending Thanksgiving at my daughters. I have several needle minders, my favorite ones are the character minders, they keep me company. Christmas Garden is in my stash, I have the threads kitted up, need to find the perfect fabric. I discovered it watching Dena with halfstitch cross stitch. Thank you for another great video!
I am really enjoying Instagram. I get worn out with Facebook and all the negative stuff, so Instagram has been a fresh look at all the fun projects my stitching friends are doing. I had to search Instagram for beginners on UA-cam and found it helpful. Simple steps each day and by the end of the week I had created an account and learned how to post. It really is fun. You can keep your account private and that would be a good place to start. I'm so glad you're joining in with me!! I stitched my other Stitch Along friday through Sunday, so next I will pick up my joynevertheless Stitch. I like doing several days on one and then switching.
Throughly enjoyed this episode. Your sharing at the end of your video lightens my thoughts and I love the song "Because He Lives". Maybe I should try some of your oils. Fell Sunday morning getting out of the tub in my new apartment. Trying to get ready to go to church. Ended in Urgent Care with a broken bone in my right foot. Now I am laid up and can't unpacked my belongs. So rambling around trying to find something to stitch, I found a table cloth and napkins I hard started to embroidery. Going to finish this, if I can stay awake long enough to do this. I found the package of embroidery I wanted to send you. Look for it soon. Blessing to you.🙏♥️
Thank you for another great uplifting video! I have been feeling the same anxiety over all that’s happened this month, but like you, I have turned my sight upward. Christ said the world hated him, and because the servant is not above the master, the world will hate us also. In this world we will have tribulation, but Christ is our example. He prayed to the father” please take this cup from me, but not my will but yours Lord be done” .I want that always to be my prayer, not my will but yours Lord, because I know His will is perfect. From our perspective things look very dark and evil, but God is in control of the situation, and when the time is right evil will be eliminated, and we will be in the presence of the Almighty, praise be to God.I too like sounds like reign! Their little boys have sweet voices also
Oh, these words are PERFECT for me to read right now. I"m sorry for the delay, but.....to read these tonight are so good for me. Yes, if we can keep our focus on Christ and His sacrifice for us and remember He's got this in control, it helps to keep moving forward and trusting in His provision and protection. I know I"m praying for my kids and family alot more now with such an uncertain future.
A beautiful flosstube from a gracious soul❣ I enjoyed seeing how you organize your charts that are not in project bags. I will eventually participate in your joy sal since I started OJD this summer and need to make more progress. Happy Thanksgiving 🧡
Hi again, here it is: I00 Bible Verses you need to Memorize by Robert Morgan. It is really wonderful. Please read it. I also like Rosamund Pilcher. Many good books, right? I love your projects too.
I'm sorry for the delay in responding! I just ordered the book on Amazon used, so it will be coming in a week or two. Thanks so much for suggesting it. Glad you love Rosamund Pilcher as well. Which one was your favorite? I'm reading Shell Seekers again. I think that's my favorite one.
No, I might in the future, but for now, I just make them for fun. If you get the hankering for making some, beadshop.com has some great videos and Hobby Lobby has great sales. Michaels and JoAnne's have some as well. I'm glad you like them!
Loved your video! Also liked hearing that you also love Rosamunde Pilcher’s books! My favorite was the very first one I read, “The Shell Seekers”. Her books are wonderful! Also fun to see that you also enjoy Sleepytime tea, I have a cup every evening before bedtime! Keep up the great videos, you are so inspiring on so many levels!
Getting your own gifts makes is much easier for my husband, too!! WE have so many fun traditions with Christmas, the gifts are such a small part of it. I'll check out the church. Thanks for recommending it!

Your work is lovely! Because He Lives is a favorite in our house. I get chills every time I hear it
Ahh! Good hymn and a great reminder to keep our eyes fixed on our Jesus and not the storm going on around us. There always will be storms.
I just started watching flosstube!! I learned about project bags too!!! Your verse was a perfect one for our times!!!
Bless you! How wonderful to hear a Godly woman on UA-cam. I love to sew and stitch too.
You are the sweetest person. I love your podcast and your love for Jesus.
I enjoyed your video! I have done some stress stitching after the election also! Praying for our country! Praying the truth comes to light!
I love that you share so much of your life. I'm going to look into the oils....my hubby has stage 4 cancer, and maybe that will help both of us.
Blessings too you, another beautiful video! Happy thanksgiving 🍁🦃🍽
I love that verse! Delight yourself to the Lord and He will give the desires of your heart!
Another great video! I especially loved your share at the end. You are an inspiration to me in many ways. Thank you. Blessings to you .
Looking at your project bag fabric choices was wonderful. Your eye for combining fabrics is a gift.
Sorry my typos. We had a death in our family this week and I’m not quite all with it...... :(
Oh, sweet friend.
I had about fifteen Hugh boxes full of craft products, but I found all my beads and I want to start beading again. Take. Are
Bonnie... As I’m listening & stitching, kinda, The word Brave Heart ♥️ keto coming to me, you are a Brave soul, vulnerable & so sweet...
such a pleasure, always , watching your videos.🌷
Your encouragement is so genuine & for that I say, Thank you for all the info you gave tonight , I appreciated it much. I downloaded Laurie’s book , & shared it with others. 💛
Blessings ~ Bonnie ♥️🌹🙏🇺🇸🙏🇮🇱
I'm so sorry for the long delay in responding. Thank you so much for your encouragement about being a Brave Heart with Keto. It sure is hard right now with all the wonderful holidays and the stress in the world. It's a fight to keep that darn sugar out of my life, but it helps alot now that my husband is back on track with me. Glad you got the book. I keep reminding myself to Keep My Eyes on Jesus and not on the Storm!!
i love pastor Hibbs. i watch him all the time. you are blessed
I like to have my fabric rolled up after I iron out the wrinkles. I roll it on the either paper towel roll or a pool noodle that i cut to size. I add a label on the fabric for the pattern it is used. In the pattern I note the fabric on a sticky note sheet.
That's a good idea. I remember Vonna Pfeiffer has a tutorial on making a fabric rollup using a mailing tube.
I usually watch your quilt videos. I like them a lot. Will be sad to miss your last one.
I really enjoy your videos
I just love your vids ❤️
Karen Brown of Just get it done quilts uses it she is in Canada and I think she can help
Love your authenticity, you're precious will check out Sounds Like Reign😇
Hi Bonnie,
I did get Instagram installed, it's still new to me and I have yet to figure it out.
My favorite thing to do,is to peddle around.
I have been watching Tiny Notes From Home and Sounds Like Reign from the beginning of their videos.
Blanket yarn is Homespun. I believe it is made by Lion Brand.
Oh, that's it!! Thank you. I'll update the notes, I forgot about that. I've made lots of them. They are so soft.
I love watching your videos. Do you sell your brac9?
No, I might in the future, but for now, I just make them for fun. If you get the hankering for making some, beadshop.com has some great videos and Hobby Lobby has great sales. Michaels and JoAnne's have some as well. I'm glad you like them!
I think that’s homespun (name of yarn)
Yes! You're right. So soft and lovely to work with.
Bracelets
Loved your video! Also liked hearing that you also love Rosamunde Pilcher’s books! My favorite was the very first one I read, “The Shell Seekers”. Her books are wonderful! Also fun to see that you also enjoy Sleepytime tea, I have a cup every evening before bedtime! Keep up the great videos, you are so inspiring on so many levels!
I buy my own gifts too. Our age, right. Love your videos. Check out Church of the Resurrection with Adam Hamilton. You'll be addicted. He's awesome
Getting your own gifts makes is much easier for my husband, too!! WE have so many fun traditions with Christmas, the gifts are such a small part of it. I'll check out the church. Thanks for recommending it!
Don't use a seam ripper.
What is your best way of removing stitches? I have so much to learn!!
