@@TheJoiOfReading we’ll see if I actually get to it, my TBR is too large 😆 And yes for sure, it was definitely eye opening and intense at times but so well written!
Hey! I also read the midnight library by Matt Haig. It was a good story for sure. I own "we are not like them", and after listening to your thoughts, I hope to get to it soon! It looks like you had a very great reading month.☺
Hey! Yes, so good. I will definitely be checking out more of his books for sure. His ideas are all so unique for each of his books. I look forward to hearing your thoughts after you read We are Not Like Them ☺️
Jennette mccurdy is truly a gifted writer she was brave to speak up about what she went through in her childhood and her struggles in her adult years i read her memoir last year
Yes I totally agree! She went through a lot and was able to execute it all in her book very well. She was definitely brave to speak up about everything and let everyone see her life in a different way than what we saw on TV
The midnight library sounds really good. I’ll have to add to my tbr. Have you read The Neighbor Favor by Kristina Forest? It’s a romance that leans more to the characters and their story with just a touch of spice. It’s one of my faves. 🤎
Yes, I highly recommend! & I haven’t read it but have seen it around. I will definitely have to read that one, it sounds like it will be right up my alley! Thanks for the recommendation 💕
@TheJoiOfReading Well Holding was not her best one it was actually the last of a series. You should have read Goals first it tells a little of his behavior story and why their relationship was like it was. Alexzandria house books does have a lot of adult sex scenes, but I am here for all of that. I believe her best set are the McClain Brothers (5 Books) just me. but I did enjoy all of them but as well I think holding was my least favorite. I feel all of her books are a touch of erotica and again i am here for all of that. I am an older reader. I do love a great storyline, but I also love a great love.
Yeah I listened to the audiobook because it was available on hoopla for free and saw it can be read as a stand alone, but you’re right, maybe if I would’ve read the first one my thoughts may have been different. I def don’t mind spice in books but I have to also connect with the characters and their love story to enjoy it. I will be giving her another shot, and look into reading another series by her based on everyone’s feedback! Thanks so much for letting me know about the McClain Brothers. I saw a lot of reviews where people mentioned Holding wasn’t their favorite so I hope to find another that changes my mind because I did enjoy her writing just not the book in particular.
The Midnight Library is on my TBR for March, so glad you liked it! And I’m Glad My Mom Died was so good!! Looks like a great reading month for you 😆
Ooo definitely let me know what you think after you read it! & yes I enjoyed I’m glad my mom died, definitely an eye opener to so many things 😊

Thank you ! I will check that series out ☺️
Yessss very Grown Grown if you aint ready for the many sex stories you may want to leave these boys for last Set, Jah, and Shu@@TheJoiOfReading
