Thank you for your comment. It can be any test route for your time but last time my learner went towards Bolton lane onto Ecceleshill roundabout area at 11:11. Good luck with your test. 👍
Hi. You have probably been asked a few times but how many thornbury routes are there and roundabouts, if you can tell me the name of the rounadabouts too so i can revise them as i have a test soon, thank you
There are many test routes. It also depends what is the time of your test. Most tests routes are on UA-cam already. And I hope you must have covered all of them with your instructor.
Picking up a serious for the pedestrian at around 14:20 seems very harsh! As he approaches the crossing, she's still walking; she isn't waiting. Highway Code says "Drivers and riders should give way to pedestrians waiting to cross and MUST give way to pedestrians on a zebra crossing" - this pedestrian wasn't on the crossing (so no mandatory giving of way), and had not reached the differentiated paving (the "waiting area") by the time the driver reached the zig zags (the general rule, I thought, being that one shouldn't generally stop when you've already entered the zig zag zone). Now, I'm sure I'm quite out of date with this, but I'm struggling to see how this driver broke a mandatory rule, or even broke the spirit of the HC! That 20mph zone at around the 22 minute mark is appalling as a piece of road design. The terminal sign indicates a "20mph ZONE" but this is in contravention of the guidance from the Government. A 20mph ZONE must be a self-enforcing area, containing traffic calming, and not applied to a road that's intended primarily or solely for traffic. If you see a "20mph ZONE" sign you should be expecting to see other features. This area should instead have been designed as a 20mph LIMIT area, with simple 20mph terminal signs, and frequent repeaters. There are insufficient repeaters along this length of road. And, yes, I know the driver would nonetheless have failed his test, but this free-for-all in limit signing (we used to have world-class signs; now local authorities have basically been told they can make things up as they go along and ignore long-standing national standards) is terrible. So I feel sorry for this chap for picking up a fail over this awful - and wrong - piece of road design!
@@5DriveSchoolOfMotoring Thank you & i took a left onto Dick Lane then left into Tyersal Road, Left onto Tyersal Avenue then left onto Tyersal Terrace which is where I did my reverse parallel park then back on main road towards Sticker lane roundabout 3rd exit onto Wakefield Road then 2nd exit from the roundabout at the bottom then up Leeds Road so I got an easy route.

My second test 27 November at 9:7 thornbury center which route ?plz tell me
My learners have been going on different test routes at that time Including Manchester road test route.
Just a quick question as you exit the test centre at Thornbury is the road 10 mph?
Yes as soon as you are out of the test centre car park the speed limit is 10 MPH

@@plustube0977 yeah TBH your route was fairly straight forward. But still you have to drive well to pass the test.
Will we be asked to follow a satnav in our tests or is that depending on the examiner???
4 learners out of 5 follow SatNav and one learner follows signs. So 80% you ll follow SatNav.
If you don’t know the answer to the show me tell me questions is that a fail?
Hi Fay it won’t be a fail. However examiner will give you a minor mistake.
