This garden is one of the largest in the Kansai region, and was designed by the late Nitta Chojiro, an Osaka businessman, from the early Taisho period through the Showa period.

The gardens are lush with pine forests, which add color to the gardens during the wisteria and azalea seasons.
・"Tidal pond garden" is a pond that draws water from the sea, and the water level rises and falls according to the tides.

Its varied exterior features a combination of hipped and gabled roofs.
"Tomomachibeya"
Built right next to the main house as a waiting area and rest area for rickshaw drivers.
・Kitakabukimon Gate
A sukiya-style gate with a distinctive round-shaped pillar that still bears the marks of pruning.
・Chojubashi Bridge
A bridge built over a monolith of bluestone, the best in western Japan.
・Teahouse
Its simple appearance with a thatched roof is a distinctive feature.
・Hamazashiki
It is built at the southern end of the site, overlooking Kuroe Bay, and was the first to be built at Onzan Manor.
