I was addicted to it 3-4 years ago. But then, they slowed the game down by reducing the resources and increasing the cost of the units. It slowed the game down and now we have fewer players than ever. Did it improve? Or do we have to wait for hours to get enough people in a room for a multiplayer game?
This video has me rethinking how I play this game. I have never tried early on not using heavy tanks, which is what I normally do. But maybe turrets are better to make earlier and I make the heavy tanks, or I make aircraft.
I never build land, air or mech factories. Ever. I build turrets, fabricators and, eventually, experimental spiders. Have yet to meet an AI that can beat experimental spiders.
When I play again I would make a circle of tower defense for protect and shield everywhere like before the civilization builds walls for protect them how I didn’t think that before

You know what's crazy there hasn't been an actual new C&C in almost 14 years.. I very much doubt we'll get a new C&C before March 16th of this year. All we've gotten is mobile games and a remaster =/.
@@raven67854 I use to play Starcraft 1 + 2 in custom offline similar to this video. 8 Bots and I in a FFA. Hard Mode. All Terran. Id build a wall of siege tanks and bunkers and watch as thousands of Marines would come pouring in and die just like your chokepoint. Good times. I enjoyed watching the warfare

But I'm playing it on my mobile phone cuz my PC with my steam account with 500+ games was stolen . And I can't et back into my account. I had the steam profile since I was a teenager too. Effed up.
Rusted warfare sometimes feel boring but DAMN even IF i still play it and dont delete it this game is too underrated this should be become overrated and must be known more

I would consider myself a veteran of the game the first time i remenber playing this was on 2018 on a saturday and since then i have only been able to play the demo/free to play version on mobile so you can tell i did not have many options on how to play the game and i have mastered winning against very hard a AI on the available maps and i was working on beating 3 impossible AIs working up from 1 all the way to 3 and till this day i have only beaten 2 impossible AIs on the lava maze using the arty turret wall strat the only reason why i did not get to beat 3 impossible AIs at the same match is mostly cause ya know sometimes i get bored of the game and unistall it until a few years mostly 1 or 2 i remenber the game and get a bit better before unistalling it again sorry for the bible of text and i like to know this game is still a thing and now im gonna be seeing less of these chinese ppl playing it and more ppl i actually understand lol

@@raven67854 Sure, if playing against a human, this is not a valid strategy, but the AI never builds adequate defenses or fields enough units to challenge them. As for fun, that's for me to decide. I enjoy the building more than micro-managing a mess of units. Plus, being unstoppable is it's own source of amusement.

The AI getting stuck really does make this game to easy sometimes. Though on more open maps it is more difficult. If you can survive the first initial wave on impossible then all you have to do is grind them down while you expand.
Glad to see this game is still alive its so underrated, if only people know this game they will be addicted.

Being a turtle is quite effective in Rusted Warfare which makes it rather fun
Holy cow, I realized this is similar to the Command & Conquer (90s-2000s) style of RTS, it's refreshing.

if only the ai could coordinate those hovertanks they would have pierced the defense
Yeah their lack of good navigation is often a hindrance. It's why they spam air on impossible I think.

Yeah that is why I am not doing a 1v9 with impossible AI. Just a slog and nobody wants to watch that for several hours. It is REALLY fun though :D

Because of the AI and pathing you can very easily turtle then overpower with sheer numbers with air against a wide variety of units
