Awesome review man. I was considering the ortizan just got kicks but may be not now. I do like the radiators and lights on it.

Thanks for watching! I can't honestly recommend the Ortizan for much of anything unfortunately. Wish I could say otherwise but, it was pretty disappointing. I've read in other comments that the X30 is much better than the X10. If you're going to give it a go, maybe go that route but, the Flips, Nashvilles, and Embertons seem to be the best so for and the ones I'm recommending.

You should have compared the JBL Flip 6 to the Ortizan X30 instead of the X10, it's a much better speaker! I purchased an Ortizan X30 off Tenmu for only $40 and it's larger than the JBL Flip6 (7" X 2.6" X 2.8") where the X30 is (8.6" X 3.34") also it has built in multicolored LED lights not just surrounding the passive subs but up and down and around the speaker with 3 different modes to chose from and it even has white LED lights where the speakers are that flash with the music thru the grill. it even has 3 EQ modes and everything can be controlled thru the speaker, play/pause, skip/reverse volume up/down, LED light control and it can take calls and use voice assistant plus it is also waterproof. Also where the Flip 6 only has Bluetooth 5.1 the X30 has Bluetooth 5.3, in addition the Flip 6 only puts out 30watts where the X30 puts out 50watts! The X30 also includes a lanyard making it easy to carry around and it also has a Micro SD Card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-A for a thumdrive all of which you can play music thru if you don't want to use Bluetooth. Another advantage is the X30 has 30 hours of playtime where the Flip 6 only has 12 hours of playtime. When I got my Ortizan X30 and heard how good it sounds I immediately bought a second one so that I could hook them together to play True Wireless Stereo Mode, with both speakers paired together and playing simultaneously it provides 3D Stereo Surround Sound which sounds amazing especially when you set one speaker to the right and one to the left! Overall I am totally satisfied with them and the crystal clear sound and deep bass they put out! I definitely think the X30 outdoes the Flip 6 and at less than 1/3 the price, even buying 2 it still cost less than a single Flip 6. Also my best friend has a JBL Extreme 2 which cost $250 and even at that price it only has a totaly of 40watts of power, less than the 50watts of the X30 plus half the playtime at 15 hours compared to the X30's 30 hours. Plus I could buy 6 Ortizan X30's for the price of 1 JBL Extreme 2. I will admit that the JBL Extreme 2 has the Ortizan X30 beat in bass given it's larger subs. However as far as sound quality it can't beat 2 X30's hooked together for 3D Stereo Surround Sound. That said even though I love my X30's I am still a huge JBL fan and have their 9.1 Wireless Dolby Atmos Surround Sound Bar which sounds absolutely amazing!

Thanks for the input and thanks for watching! We may look into comparing the X30 as well. Seemed like this one was the comparable option to the Flip where the X30 seems more like its going after the Charge tier based on size and footprint. Didn't have too many requests or much interest in the ortizans though so, it may be a while before I can get back to covering those.

I use flip 3 flip 4 flip 5 and now flip 6. I am a heavy user and I can feel the improvements

Yeah - I love seeing the generational differences in these! They have come a long way through the different iterations and through the years!

Something I would like to see is party mode or broadcast mode or what-have-you demonstrated and reviewed. That takes more speakers I know, but it is hard to find videos showing how to do it, and how much of a difference there is.

Thanks for the input. I've thought about making a short on each of the speakers that offer that option and doing a quick how-to. hopefully will be able to release something like that soon!

The tribit sound max plus 2 retails for $69.99 & would compare really well with the JBL. It’s rated at 30 watts & has a 24 hr battery life.

Thanks for watching and for the suggestion! I may have to look into these and possibly do a compare myself!

The retail on the flip is considerably high. The flip 6 retails for that much.

Thanks for watching! Costs what people are willing to pay. That's what this experiment was kinda about---to see if the generics would hold up. In this case, the generic did not...but, I'm sure there's something out there that may compare at a lower cost. Time will tell though! My search continues. :)

Funniest part about this comment is you thinking I am actually paid. I wish. I'm pretty far in the negatives with this channel -- going out of pocket for all costs associated. I'm making these to help and because I enjoy the products. 0 money whatsoever and I have paid full price for both of these speakers.
Anyways...that said...I do mic them up and play them as well but it's a separate video. This one/this style is a first impression and me testing for a review and giving my thoughts. If you want to hear the speakers (kinda/through a mic/over the internet)---check out my "Hear with me segments." You can listen along and compare there.
