Having around a month experience of concept 3 gaming, I'd say it's damn cool in terms of speed and cool to scout, the bad thing is the cannon though, it's most likely about either you killing several people, or doing one shot, non penetration and death. Also you have to aim for weak spots like gunner first The whole low rank Britain imo is about you flanking and shooting, and then see the damage, as said either lots of kills or non pen and you get one shotted
That's my experience as well. Feels like other countries can just shoot and get a kill at this their but for most British ranks you better hope you kill them with your first shot or your dead. It does have really good reverse which is rare for Britain lol
Yeah, British tanks are at least a whole BR less effective until some or all modules unlocked. The recoil on this make me question of IRL this thing fired on the move, used it’s full turret traverse for firing and actually stopped and deployed some stability bracing into the ground before firing.
IRL is suspension won't have been closely related to a bouncy castle. No clue why gaijin has it in their mind that the SA vehicles have the worst suspension on the planet
When they first introduced it and I wasn't really aware of that, I saw one and though: WTF is such a vehicle doing at low tier? But then I found it it fires 76mm Solid shot and was like: Oh, alright.
As I am currently working on this vehicle, I can tell you for sure that Level 3 modifications are nowhere near halfway between stock and spaded. While you might have 10 of of the 20 modification options, it takes a significant amount of time to unlock the higher level mods. I suggest you not use the top level mods in your halfway spaded case. P.S. Anyone have any theories why you don't see these much in games? Is it because of the usual British lack of APHE ammo, that makes one shot kills rare unless you know just where to shoot?
They need to fix the faulty solid shot damage model. There are tons of historical data showing the excellent anti-tank performance of the 17 pounder, with one shot kills being pretty common (one particular account I remember a Firefly took out 5 Panthers in a single battle, with only 6 shots). But in WT, the 76mm american gun is far better. I think I do better in the Sherman II with the standard 75mm gun in the same battle after I get killed in the Firefly after it fails to kill in one, two, or three shots.
What gave me a good chuckle is that the AP round fares BETTER than the APC round with angles and also at a distance. Like, what's the point of it? Almost as useless as the 7 different types of ammo that you unlock with each new T-34 and never touch.
great video, been using the concept 3 for about a month and im glad I have the same thoughts as you did. One question, what headset do you use? Your mic sounds great for a headset
@@verstappen9937 I know? I never said it would be usable. I literally called it hell. All I said was that the German M48 would also be painful to play stock.
@@glamrockchica909 It is still faster, harder to hit, more maneuverable, quicker-reloading, shorter, has a faster turret and its cannon actually does damage.
@@the_burger The 57mm is not better than the Concept 3's cannon, lmao. The 57mm sucks really bad against angles. Those 122mm of pen go out the drain against an slightly angled sherman and the many times I have failed to disable the breech of an M10 of all things because of the piss poor spalling dmg.
Due to the extreme angles of the armor you're actually immune to 50 cals and a lot of SPAA fire from the front!
I absolutely love this vehicle, the only flaw in my experience is how loud it is when accelerating. Sounds like an MBT lol
Absolutely true.
Because it was made in the 70e
the bouncy aim... ?!
Spam W to become a Active Noise maker
I mean it was made in the 1970s 😅
15:45 Ironically the Concept 3 was what the Rooikat was based on

This thing is super fun, definitely would recommend grinding :)
Probably does well at like 5.7 as well
Agreed, its probably the best vehicle in my 4.7 lineup lol
Still playable in a 6.0 lineup
I have it for 5.3, it works very well. It actually surprised me a bit.
This is one of my favorite lower tier vehicles. Great pen, no armor , wheelie Boi fun all around

crazy to think that this is what would become the rooikat, a much more advanced vehicle

I think I’ve only seen like 2 or 3 in the last month. Not sure why as it’s a great vehicle
The turret rotation speed is what kills this vehicle. I hate it. If the turret were faster it would be a lot of fun.
it’s fine
I think you might like sarc mkvi (6pdr). This thing is soo good for its br
I highly wish that Gaijin gives this tank the APDS shell . But that will increase the battle rating. But I can still wish

@@brucefunderburg1938 fr man 17 pounder is really powerful gaijin should buff it more.

Give it the LRF it actually had so it has a niche
@@themistaken9571 Where would go if it got that? 6.7?
This is what this vehicle is: concept. Can the devs flood us with more vehicles for Britain?
I like this thing, just not the gun bounce. Very hard to use because of it.
I really like theese types of vehicles :)

I bring this thing alongside the Centurion mk10 and it does really well! If you got the mk8 shot it’s an excellent late game destroyer

Can't wait for Type 60 ATM, stock to spaded :)
or the German M48, AKA the actual worst stock grind for ground in the game.
ofc the type 60 will be hell, but this will be pretty bad too.
Stock - worst vehicle in the game
Spaded - worst vehicle in the game including other stock vehicles
@@lexonfors nah fam, the type 60 is genuinely impossible to use stock or spaded

The stock shell for this is awful. It makes the grind such a chore. I like the vehicle itself, but I'm having no luck with it so far :/
Yup, This vehicle is over tiered and sucks in my opinion
i play this in my 4.7 line-up. it is my first spawn most of the time. this thing is under tiered a little.
Can you do a stock to spaded video for T-72B (1989)? I think its a great idea since its an optional tank that you can skip
This vehicle has a massive flaw. The engine is very loud, and the turret traverse speed is bad.
Hello, thanks for the review. I plane to grind the british tech tree with a fun deck: Concept 3 + Wyrvern S4. Does the Wyrvern is a fun CAS plane ?
I had so much assists at but I felt there was something, I'm still halfway through myself but it feels great so far.
I have an idea: CAS planes from Stock to Spaded, Ground RB CAS only.
The only reason I play 4.3 Britian is for the Concept 3 and Wyvern
Funny CrabbyPattyMoox post a video about the guy in the Harrier.
great documatary
Could you play this guy at 5.3?
Today on still not a Puma we have the slower, noisier and slow reloading Concept 3.
It’s just the rooikat at in my opinion and I love and am good at playing it
if you kill a scouted guy you aslo get an assit
*turreted pakpuma with solid shot only
Same BR as the Wyvern… coincidence? 😈
Got the French BP Tank last week and was wondering what the 010 number is on the back of the turret. Any ideas anyone?
love this vehicle
Wish the Thing could Turn Faster
so this thing does not turn well like puma?
no APDS (256mm pen at 500mt)
less m\s velocity for shells
classic gaijin BS
a 6.5\10 vehicle
enjoyable still incomplete
No skins for this on ps5 :(
I hate this vehicle. Leaves a lot to be desired. It just makes me want to play other tanks that I know I can make a difference in.
I dont really fond of this thing, somehow i do better with sarc 6pdr
I love too bully it 😂😂
"Excellent cannon" LOLOL. The canon sucks
77mm isn't that bad
Honestly, it's just a vehicle you use to cap A or B, get a kill or two, and then spawn in a plane.
Well it's the way I use the ru251 in my 7.3 lineup.
Well, that's kinda the niche of all light tanks, really lol
T
first! :)
These things are the reason I switch to never spawning into an active battle. These things will side shot you in spawn.
Cexially refreshing, ooch aye smack ma fkn baws aboot eh 🤙🏻
Why bother with this when there is 57mm SARC which is better in pretty much every way?
Because the SARC MK VI 6pdr is taller and easier to see
