What a job Dundee are doing here 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The stadium looks incredible; it’s modern, clean and will help attract more fans to the games! The fact it has a dedicated rail standing section is incredible and the “state-of-the-art” LED screens will look amazing! This is EXACTLY what Scottish football needs more of! Too many stadiums looks old and depressing, especially when you look at the likes of Scandinavia and Holland who are constantly looking to progress and build improved stadiums which helps their game become so much more attractive. Let’s hope Aberdeen are next and maybe Celtic too one day… 🏴🔥
I'm a well fan but I must say this is impressive if successful, Dundee and united both have people leading the clubs that have ideas and money. Will be interesting to watch.
Well done Dundee, this is exactly what Scottish Premier League and the top 3 to 4 championship clubs should aspire to. If you build it, they will come. I'm an older Rangers fan living in Canada and have seen the positive impact on the clubs and community that a new facility brings. Just hope there are lots of standing areas.
It all makes sense and will be a fitting replacement for Dens Park. Multi purpose is the way to go and will hopefully help finance a better squad of Players.

The two Milan clubs .and even Lazio and Roma in Italy all ground share yet the two clubs in Dundee which are a stones throw apart do not share . Crazy build a 25 thousand stadium to share would make a lot more sense . But this is Scotland I suppose that is beyond clubs here .
Only Juve, Inter, AC and soon to be Roma (no sharing with Lazio) will own their stadiums. The rest are owned by local councils and some of them are not in great condition - at all. Ground sharing in general is not common in world football. It's entirely understandable why Dundee want their own home. I mean if the can afford it, and get all the permissions why on earth would they offer a roof to their rivals?

Biggest issue in Scotland is very few fans attend games outside the Old Firm. You see empty stadiums everywhere yet clubs limit the away fans in the process cutting their own throats.
A strange question to be fair ,it's simple one team started in the city back in the day ,and for whatever reason I'm sure it would be interesting to know ,why they did it as we know many cities have two clubs .
Depends how you would define much more powerful. Look at Aberdeen, they're a one club city with around 70,000 more people than Dundee yet Aberdeen are not much better than what's currently on offer elsewhere in the premiership outwith the old firm.
West Ham fan in peace. What’s the goal? Is it to build foundations to complete with the biggest clubs in Scotland? The reason I’m asking (and I’m genuinely not being patronising), is that even in the top flight, lots of clubs attendances are poor. So building a new ground won’t change that. But does the new ground include a long term vision to start taking steps to winning major honours? I’m a fan of Scottish football, I want Scottish teams at the top table, getting investment into the game to ensure local youngsters follow their local teams. I have my own vision for a British League where the pyramids are combined, not just an extended invite to Rangers and Celtic.
So basically nobody goes to the games to the point they now have to explore other commercial opportunities the property may potentially be able to present in the future to mitigate financial loss & the risk of collapse from the footballing side of things 😋.
Will the Arabs still play in their bikeshed...or will they build something akin to this fabulous concept? A 35,000 capacity ''Dundee City '' Stadium needs to be thought out to accomodate both Dundee football teams.
Aye sure enough i can see Dundee city council approving aw that tae be built 😂😂 doubt theres even enough space to fit everything he said in not in the proposed site they already built that surronding area we 100s new hooses so where you fitting this in
How will it be financed? He laughs then proceeds to waffle. There's absolutely no danger this is happening. Why would anyone spend tens of millions with the likelihood of never seeing a return on it?
The only way to make this work is to have a stadium as part of a business park replete with a shopping centre, transport links, offices, restaurants etc as part of the build, and which helps finance it and maintains a steady stream of income to the development. Perfect example is Viking Stavanger. Sadly Dundee is a shit hole, so i cant see this working at all.
