When I was a young girl, and I would stay up , watching cowboy bebop and listen to this song and wonder if I would ever come across a man who would love this as much as me. I grew up and it would blast this in my car, windows down, cigarette in my hand. As luck would have it , I met someone who loved this as much as I organically. We now listen to this from time to time, and think about what it means for both of us. Thanks for looping.

Gotta be honest, the moment this song plays is one of my favourite moments in the series. You'd expect a chase scene to have very intense music, but this is very somber and depressing. Perfect fit for a scene where Katerina realizes she will never get to live the life she had wished for. There was nothing badass about this situation, and it's a sobering look at the morally grey world of Cowboy Bebop. This show is on another level man
The second this scene started paired with the music is when I instantly knew this would be one hell of an Anime
The figurative devices with the combination of the soundtrack 👌 truly a piece of art.

There's a similar moment in Gnaymede Elegy where the chase at the end has this sort of upbeat folk guitar with simple vocals, it's somethng that stood out to me as the last sort of thing you'd typically put in a scene like that, but it works so well because the emotion of the moment isn't suppsoed to be excitement, or simply rooting for the good guy to catch the bad guys.

Heard this masterpiece play in a short intermission in an Argentinian radio FM, I couldn't believe it at first, just one of those little things that sometimes makes me wonder if I really am living in the real world or if it's all just some kind of strange dream.

Im close to finishing cowboy bebop again and somehow I am filled with sadness. About the fact that ill never be able to see it again for the first time, that life continiously goes on with out a moment of pause, that i feel alone sometimes. This Music just supports those feelings..
Try not watching it for 3/4 years, that's my current state and I'm excited to watch it again almost like the first time
It's alright, rewatching it there is always something new to discover. That's the beauty of it and its genius.
The way I started Cowboy Bebop was with the ending. It was by accident actually. I wanted to see what the ending was and then just diss it as another boring anime, but my curiosity got the best of me and I watched the show all the way through and I was very disappointed in the end because I couldn't experience the ending in the correct way.

I've found my life partner, twin flame, all that jazz (no pun intended, or maybe so). We watched Bebop together which was my first time through, and hearing this tune made me realize that all the time I've spent in my 32 years was worth it. I felt the nostalgia pretty hard despite only hearing it for the first time; it's like all the shit I had to go through came to me all at once and was let loose to finally let go.
Music like this is necessary to live.

I had to be 32 yrs old to get this kind of music. Back then I was just a little snob kid 😅 but I'm glad I loved the sound of this instrument. Sad,old blues vybes, depressed nostalgia but,in a "it may not look good in these dark times but ,at least I got to experience life & I'm grateful for that" matter.

"Extended loop" but you didn't bother to edit it seamlessly so the song just starts and ends with no transition to keep it consistent. Might as well just listen to the 3 minute version on repeat cuz it's the same shit.
