crop rotation isn't really viable in eco though since very rarely your crops can be grown in the same place as another, like yes you could grow that crop there but is it really viable at a .5 crop yield for your second crop where as the main crop is a 1.0 yield not in my opinion ill just put in the extra effort and make sure each crop has its own field with 0.8 yield or higher. i have yet to ever see a spot that has a yield of .8 or higher for multiple crops. i think wheat and beets are the only ones that ever come close.
I chose Fertilizer because I thought it would help repurpose dirt that people would just leave in their stockpiles. Nope, didn't help but I did find something that was interesting and fun to do, but also no one really uses or buys it. maybe still too early game? we'll see. my first play through. Wish I'd have found this game sooner. Thanks for a great guide
Yeah, not much dirt is used for the fertilizer recipes. We did dial up crop uses of nutrients in the server setting in the last Season playthrough, and we also tried to include compost in some sort of recipe requirement, but overall I agree...Fertilizer specialty is nice, and I often take it, but demand can be pretty low.
I haven't played this in a while. Came back to it and now I have over 1k hours. I can't believe this game is still in early access. Yeah, lots of bugs still so I know why the devs haven't pushed it, which I respect, but c'mon! This game has so much potential to be sooo much more and it seems there is no rallying cry behind it. For shame.
Heyy someone finally made an updated fertilizer video. Definitely something the community needed 😄

What about inter cropping? Planting mixed crops in the same claim space to balance out the nutrients?

We do buy dead things
That sign cracked me up lol.
Of all the games you have covered, ECO has the best visuals by far!
Beans. Love 'em. They are "good for your heart" you know.
Another great video! ❤
