Bowlingdigital's 2010 BWC - Opening Ceremonies at Tour Royale

On a bright but windy Sunday afternoon, Oct. 17, the Opening Ceremonies of the 46th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup took place at Tour Royale. The Tour Royale (also known as La Grosse Tour) is a fort built in the 16th century to protect the entrance of the Petit Rade, the naval port of Toulon. It was the first fortification of the harbor, built 22 years after Provence became a part of France. Record 167 players (91 men and record 76 women) from 92 countries participated in the event.
