- Today I am visiting the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, Georgia and will be visiting the final resting place of Professional Wrestler, Terry "Bam-Bam" Gordy. It was Terry along with Michael "P.S." Hayes and Buddy Robert that formed the tag team known as "The Fabulous Freebirds." During the 1980's and 1990's the Freebirds held championships in every major Wrestling Promotion in the County and in numerous regional promotions. Terry Gordy who was a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee died of a heart attack on July 16, 2001.
RIP Terry 🙏 Thank you for all you did to entertain us. 🇺🇸 💪

Thank you for watching and taking time to comment. I would have loved to have seen matches at the Sportatorium. It was a legendary venue. I visited the Von Erichs graves during a trip to Dallas back in 2018. Here is a link to that video if you haven't seen it.

I loved WCCW! I was a teenager in the early 80's & I couldn't get enough wrestling! I watched any wrestling show I could get! I really liked the territories, & I feel wrestling was so much better back then! I really wish you would visit Gino Hernandez, he is buried in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
I had a trip back to Texas planned for 2020 but it got cancelled and visiting Gino's grave was on my list. Hopefully I can get back to Texas in the not too distant future. I did visit the Von Erich's graves in Grove Hill Memorial Park n 2018. You can view that video by clicking the Link below. On a side note I tired to find the site of the Old Sportatorium but there is absolutely nothing left of it. From what I could find out the site is now part of a freeway interchange. Sad that its gone. Thanks for watching I always look forward to your comment, they bring back so many memories.

@@tombstonesandtravel8805 I purchased a DVD about 5 years ago, where Kevin Von Erich walks around the Sportatorium! It was in bad shape! He toured the whole building . I was hoping it would become a national landmark. It was torn down in 2003.
I saw the same video on UA-cam of the Von Erich last visit to the Sportatorium. It was in terrible shape but was glad to get one last look at one of the most historic venues in wrestling.
My mom, nephew and aunts and cousin is buried in the same cemetery Tennessee Georgia memorial park.
