At 5:14 the image shown appear to be the inside wrist as opposed to th he back of the hand. In another presentation you told us you CAN use the wristwatch area on the BACK of the hand, not the inside wrist. Is that correct? Thank you for the clarification! Great content!!
I’m sorry for the slide. But yes, you can only use the back of the hand or the wrist area where the watch goes. You may never use the inside of the wrist area.
First release tourniquet, next release tube- then take out needle. That way you don’t have that vacuum suction if you leave the tube in the needle holder.
CLSI says to release the tourniquet after you finished the last tube and removed it. If you release the tourniquet too early there is a chance that blood flow can stop.

tank you but syring system If the syringe is push inside at the time of taking blood, will there be any harm? and possible air mixed with blood ?
Robeen Cia With syringe you will blow the vein if you try and push air in while in the vein. It could be dangerous too.

I taking blood use butterfly nedlle size 23 mm but blood didn’t come out like stuck.it’s wrong vein ?
You might be using the wrong tubes or you missed the vein.
In Greece we mostly use the syringe system…😫
