for falling down, he never actually gave an explanation of the meaning of the dance. he said whatever you take from it is what it's supposed to be. i personally see a struggle or rebellion with growing up and following society's rules and expectations. for the second one, keep in mind it's been a while since i saw the behind video, but i think he mentioned that through meditation he's discovered a forest within himself and this is basically him there. the dance incorporates the forms of dance that he's done throughout his life, which is why he included b boying and wushu. the hand coming up from the dirt is basically the name of the piece. 本 can be translated to root. the significance of using the hand and emphasizing the svt ring is to showcase that svt is part of his roots. he also chose the korean geomungo instead of the chinese guqin to emphasize that even though he is chinese his roots are also in korea.

it's actually the korean equivalent of it.

I know this is kind of an old comment, but he's around 178 which is 5'10, not 5'8. He's one of the taller members, not short at all.

There is a Chinese one called a guzheng, but the one being played is the Korean version equivalent of it. :)
