    Please consider a fold down sink for the bathroom in future models

    We were seriously considering this rig until we realized that the windows don’t open. That makes it a no go for us.

    This is amazing but hear me out. Instead of two twin beds let’s get rid of 1 of them and put an oven/stove and counter. That would be awesome.

      Hey Gary, thanks for commenting. I think you need to look at the Bayside SS as it's that exact combo you spoke of. I'll attach a link. Thanks for commenting! -Seth B

    I like everything except those tank flush pipes hanging down so close to the ground and what if you spin a rock with that back tire?

    • @chinookmotorcoach
      @chinookmotorcoach  6 місяців тому +5

      Thank you for sharing your concerns about the tank flushout pipes on our Bayside. We understand your worry about their proximity to the ground. RV manufacturers design these pipes to be durable and capable of handling normal road conditions. While the pipes may appear low, our Bayside models provide around 7 to 8 inches of clearance, which is generally sufficient. However, if you frequently travel in rocky or uneven terrain, adding protective accessories like mud flaps, guards, or covers to the pipes could be beneficial. Lastly, it's important to note the Bayside in this video has slightly sunk into the ground due to wet gravel, and the grass there doesn't give us justice. I'll be sure to keep this in mind for the next video. We appreciate your feedback, If you have any more questions or comments, feel free to let us know at info@chinookrv.com! Thanks again!

      Most R.V's are equipped with this set-up, I agree, its a design flaw. I would like to see them redesigned to have easier access as well as relocated. I have a hard time reaching under the vehicle to hook-up or un-hook.

    I do like the separation of shower and toilet area. One thing your video didn’t cover, are there bug screens for side and rear door areas?

      Hello, thank you for your feedback. It's greatly appreciated. Yes, we do offer removable bugscreens, I will be sure to get that into the next one. Have a great day, & thanks again!

    no bathroom sink? Only 2 seatbelts?

    • @chinookmotorcoach
      @chinookmotorcoach  5 місяців тому +1

      Hello, thanks for commenting. Correct, currently just one sink in the van. Additionally, we just started offering seatbelts in all 3 Bayside Floorplans. This one did not have it. Thanks again!

    What is the measurements of the twin beds? What is the measurements of space between the beds in the center of the van? could a 13‘6“ kayak fit down the middle of the van? The kayak would lye on its side which is 12 1/2 inches wide?

    • @chinookmotorcoach
      @chinookmotorcoach  Місяць тому

      Hello Richard,
      The twin beds are 72" L x 25" W. About 18"s in the center. Yes, from looking at measurements, I believe so. Thanks for commenting!

    Look and learn how they design a camper van in Europe - this looks like a homemade DIY.

      Hi there! We appreciate your feedback regarding the design of our class B van. While it may have a DIY aesthetic, rest assured that it is professionally built by meeting and exceeding all safety and quality standards by the RVIA. Our goal is to offer a class B that combines comfort, luxury, convenience, and versatility while catering to various needs. We often say if there was a perfect motorhome, they'd only build one. If you have specific suggestions for improvement, we are open to hearing them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!

      Hello, thanks for commenting. Understand this floorplan calls for a smaller kitchen space. Our SS and newly released RS have bigger kitchens for a van. Thanks again!

    ... I'm not a fan of the following 15 things on this Chinook model:
    1. No to having expensive Batteries outside under the chassis due to heat/cold weather and chance of thieves stealing it
    2. No to having generator sitting under chassis for same reasons as number one
    3. No to that woven floor mat which will easily get dirty and show the marks since it's a bright color
    4. No to the interior bland green grey color giving it a sterile boring hospital lobby feel. I'm not color blind. So, I notice that.
    5. No to a separate shower and toilet. In small RVs having a pullout toilet in a wet bath is the best. That frees up more storage area. That's a no brainer.
    6. No to the divider between the living area and toilet areas just having a thin slide fabric as a door. That is not good privacy if a group is sitting inches away.
    7. No to individual doors on wall cabinets. I prefer on very long door opening to minimize the need to open ten doors to find one item. And it's more sleek.
    8. No to magnet window shades. The shades should be built into the window with optional one button press to open them automatically.
    9. No to the large amount of sitting area compared to the small size of this RV. Usually travelers don't have that many people on a trip.
    10. No to having to move tons of pillows to make the bed. The bed should just be a motorized slide into position situation. Most would agree.
    11. No to how narrow the windows are. The windows should be very wide to match the wide seating area. That's another no brainer.
    12. No to the circuit/breaker system being under the seating. People will just constantly knock open those doors with foot and it's uncomfortable to bend and use.
    13. No to the permanent ladder welded outside the van. Why ? Anyone can climb up and mess with your stuff on the roof and it's an eye soar. A collapsible latter is better.
    14. Also, not enough USB and plugin 110 volt outlets. This only has one under the seats and the other side across it has none. Hmm.
    15. The windows don't seem to open. LOL. What is going on here ?
    To many deal breakers on this model. I love Chinook. But, this is model has too many mistakes.

      How come VW doesn’t have the camper van in America? Mercedes has them here.
