I remember reading the manga for knb and I got sucked in when they started animating the show. The characters are funny and vibe off each other but they also know when its time to get serious as serious as high schoolers can get tbh. Its worth a watch.
It has 3 seasons, the ovas, the special episode, the NG-SHUU and the movie. A must watch anime! In fact: one of the op is sang by the two voice actors in the anime, Also the one who made haikyuu and this anime both helped each other. So basically No hate just Love, Friendship it is!

my favourite one is the 6th (called Zero) because it is sung by the va of the main character and it has a really nice message in it idk i just really affectionate this track ^^ Kuroko no basket is one of my favourite anime so i would be biased rating it haha sentimentalism is too strong edit: slam dunk is also really good but slam dunk is closer to haikyuu for exemple as a very realistic sport where kuroko is playing on the shonen battle type line of genre lol
Ace of diamond is most similar to Slam dunk since both mcs start as beginners of their sport in comparison to their rivals but yeah haikyuu is also pretty realistic. kuroko is basically just battle shonen power fantasy lol
Yess, my favorite anime finally! I love KnB sooooo much! My fav op gotta be 1, 3 and 6. Also, if you're gonna react to it I'll definitely sign up for patreon!
Haikyuu and Ping Pong the Animation are far better imo, Kuroko goes way too much into "powers" to be a good sport anime. Hajime no Ippo is really good too
@@iSaphyr i would hope haikyuu would look better since it came out after but it barley does. haikyuu is also stretching between powers and realism. also majority of thos abilities in kurko throughout the series fits in fine. lol en your own example hajime no ippo has exaggerated animations in the later series as well. you can have powers en still be a good sports anime, it just wont be as realistic as others.

'Zero' is my favourite op from knb. As far as the show, I really enjoyed it. Sometimes its ridiculous but it doesn't take away from the fun of the show (unless you're one of those people that for some reason watch anime because you think it's "realistic"). It's definitely up there for me as a sports anime and would recommend it to those who like basketball, but dont mind some exaggerated aspects applied to it. General gist of the show is, there was a really good team in middle school and they split up and went to different high schools and are competing to see who's the best.
The first ever opening of kuroko no basket will forever hold a place in my top 3 openings in anime 😎 also the show came out in 2012 final season was 2015 the movie last game was 2017
‘The basketball which Kuroko plays’ is just another translation of the Japanese title for the show and yes, Kuroko is the main character. I love the show both for the big flashy actions scenes and the intricate character work. A lot of them have backstory which slowly gets revealed. If you’re looking for realistic sports, it’s not the show for you, but if you like a more classic shounen with some superpowers and special moves it’s great. The most important/difficult opponents all have different coloured hair and are named after the colour of their hair, which is a great way of learning the names of the colours in Japanese. I highly recommend the show.
I, Kuroko Tetsuya, have a dream. A bit of a fun fact. This show had three Jojo's in it's cast. Kuroko and Giorno are voiced by Kensho Ono. Kagami and Josuke are voiced by Yuuki Ono. Midorima and Jotaro are voiced by Daisuke Ono.
I love the 5th the most, cause even if the arc focuses only on two matches - they found way to include main opponents and characters through the blonde dude opponent, who has ability to "copy" moves and playstyles of other players. You can actually see a glimpse of him the moment before he "turns" into other characters. And song is pretty good as well.
I would have to rate this anime a 9 due to nostalgia and storyline but also I thought basketball wasn’t that great and would low key hate on it but after watching this show I get excited watching games now.
This series is so EPIC, pure epic. Especially the last matches. No girly shorty who cries like a baby and shouts to not be a loser or anything. Every characters are strong, independent and cool. And they focus on epic plays, not bullshit teenage dramas. This series is all about talents, extreme talents and how to deal with it. Everyone has their own ideal about strength and victory, and clashes to find out who is right.
You guys don't need to compare Kuroko no basket and Haikyuu because we're all have their own taste and opinion so STOP COMPARING 😑 Each of them has its own advantages and privileges 👏🙄 Plus, Kuroko is a basketball anime while Haikyuu is a volleyball anime from the same anime studio (Production I.G) so why don't we love each of them and stop saying Kuroko is trash or Haikyuu is trash ✋😑 Anyway, thank you for reacting to this anime openings ☺️ Great reaction as always 👍 I recommend you to watch this anime and no regret 😁 To me, Kuroko no Basket endings were also quite catchy and amazing but if you have free time, you can try to check it out! 😁 Hope to see you react to their endings 🙂
