Thank you SMMoments, and great suggestion. I will be focusing on VOR's in the next few projects coming up in the future. I am looking forward to having that one done too!
this was perfect practicing for my written and saw this question come up on king schools and was confused about it. Thanks for the explanation it helped a lot.
I learned this stuff, just from watching this video! Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate it for being able to explain it to us people who are having trouble understanding this. ☺️
The chart function section really helped me understand. Mirroring and putting the runway in the middle made everything made more sense to me. Thank you
awesome video! thank you so much for covering all kinds of questions that could be asked during the exam. I liked how you introduced different kinds of scenarios that could be mentioned to provide us a wider scope of idea how each question should be answered differently depending on what is given and what to find❤
Hello and thank you for your kind feedback Veronica! I am very glad the video was helpful in various ways for you. Best wishes to you and your studies!
Aidya, I love the way you explain this concept. Keep making these video series or put them all in separate folder with each category. If you already make them send me a link. You are by far the best instructor I have viewed online. I will pass your links to all the students in my class. By the way, my college instructor was also very impressed by your video and intsruction.
Hello Ashley, thank you for your kind feedback. It really makes the time put into this content totally worth it! I am still a beginner with this video editing stuff and aiming to grow faster at producing more content. Wishing you all the best in your studies!
Hello from Canada, Thank you for this amazing video and hard work that you have done to put it all together. I’m now to your next video calculating landing and takeoff distances to prepare well for my oral exam and flight test in couple weeks.
First time watching your videos, & me not knowing nothing about planes, elementary only, on the road, English as a 2nd language lol but I understood most of it, at leat this video, awesome awesome I like how you explain.
Hello Jerry, very glad you enjoy this content. I need to work better on putting out more videos! Definitely more to come, and thank you for the support.
This is great to hear, I am glad it helped figure the chart out. I know ground schools have a very limited time to teach as much information as possible, it can get overwhelming! Thank you for watching Av8rApllo!
The first 2 minutes of this video explained it way better than kings ground school could do in 4 minutes! Kings ground school only scratches the bare minimum of this and then expects you to completely understand everything with it...
Excellent question and you bring a good point, thank you! Yes, you are correct in that if the wind is coming from north, in that example, it would indeed be headed towards the reciprocal direction, 180 degrees. In the context of written test question wording and crosswind component calculations, this situation would be more leaning towards assuming the orientation of where the wind is coming FROM, in relation to the runways. It becomes less about the direction the wind is blowing TO. It is easy to overthink with written test wording too, I've been guilty. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, best wishes!
What if the wind is 330 at 8 and the runway is 03-21 , how do you use the chart,i know the angle is 60 but in this situation you can not subtract 330-030=300 or 330-210 =120 , both angles are not practical to use on this chart. How would you solve this, thanks
Hello John, interesting question- I don't think I have a perfect or correct answer for this. I just refer to winds based on their direction in relation to the runway at that specific moment. The closer it is to the 90 degree angle, it feels more of a crosswind at that point. Have a great day and hope to see you in the next video!
Great suggestion, thank you for your feedback Minosprimegaming. I am currently working on a VOR video project. I am learning through some technical issues with the software, but am making progress on it, not sure when it will be posted but I am aiming to add a new video end of July. I will add latitude and longitude to my list as well. Best wishes!
I found your explanations on your videos, much better than the ground school class rooms. I wish the best for you, Thank you so much.
Charming!! Better explaining then the rest of the ppl on UA-cam. More please!!
Thank you Nelsonmuntz! I will definitely be working on more video projects. Wishing you a great weekend.
The last question was the exact problem I got wrong on the practice test and your explanation helped so much. Thank you
best video ive seen explaining crosswind component graphs with questions straight out of GLIME. Thank you
This is the best explanation I could find on the internet so far. You are an exceptional teacher.
I enjoy teaching so it is very uplifting to hear that it is enjoyed by others too, thank you Ivanatisler!
Your explanations are magnificent! Can you make a video explaining VOR?

Great Explanation!!
This video was amazing
Great demo :)
Thank you Helalbhuiyan, I appreciate you stopping by!
Love it thank You.
Personal Notes
Drawing horizontal line accross and getting 25 would be getting headwind component. Question is asking for wind velocity (curved line)
Thank you!
You are very welcome Onion, thank you for watching! Wishing you a great day
I love this topic
Amazing video
Thank you Tinopress Gang!
So very helpful thanks
I need one for the density altitude graph 😊
If the wind is coming from the north, wouldn’t wind direction be 180?

G,day AIDYL CONCEPTS from Sydney Australia.
Q1 when does a headwind become a cross with for communication: past 45° of the direct headwind?
🌏🇦🇺 "C Ya"
