Just amazing how you got such perfect shading on your shells. Loved the added "sand" on the background. Also, that was interesting to tip the panel and I really liked that effect! Thanks so much.
I love layering stamps such as these. The coloring is so easy! I haven't gotten a in depth with my shading as you, typically just rolling another color along the edges. Your card is stunning. Tfs.
Beautiful card! I have a few layering stamps that I have played with coloring with ink. But, I have not tried blending two colors using stamps yet. I really want to try it.
Lynn Le Bel Great card Yana! Love the colouring with stamps. I do have several sets of stamps that work as this technique. Much easier than colouring with pencils or markers!! I like the technique of adding shadows to the edges of the stamps and blending with a small brush. Thank you for sharing that technique as I had not considered doing that! I am going to try it! Hope you have a great day!!
I love layering stamps and have used the "softening the edge technique," but will be trying the "softening the edge with a brush stroke" technique! What lovely results that gave!!!
Beautifully done, Yana! I have made a seashell card with a layering stamp set before, but there was a sand stamp with it. I like your idea of using the COPIC markers to make the sand texture. Thanks for the ideas you shared today!
Yes I do; I use a small brush with water and the ink pad. The shades can be either more vibrant or more subdued. Mostly, though, the alcohol markers will run over the line and it’s easier for me to use a brush and ink pad.
I think your card is beautiful. I love the idea of layering stamps, I'm not a big fan of coloring, but I can never seem to get them to line up correctly inside the stamped lines. I'm sure it's just user error and the fact that I wear tri-focal glasses to see.
Thanks so much for watching our video! We hope it inspires you to create today! tinyurl.com/mr3rd9v9
BEAUTIFUL card, Yana … just GORGEOUS! ! !
We think so too!
Love a wonky placed panel! Beautiful shells--a favorite pastime of ours is beachcombing! Oh the treasures! 🐚
This set is perfect for you, Donna!

Beautiful card with great coloring and dimension. I have not colored with ink pads, but I am looking forward to trying it out. Thank you, Yana!!

Yes, please do!
I'd like to try this technique. I must say that I had a "duh" moment, because it never occurred to me to put the panel at an angle like that.😂
Yes, game changer!

Lovely card... I have used that technique a bit... haven't used the brushes with it though, but I love how it looks so will be giving it another go.
