Hello everyone i ordered a pair of ROOT INDUSTRIES XL T-BARS i selected my bars to not have a slit cut in them upon arrival the bars had a slit in them i called the number on the website and Tommy answered the phone i was telling him about what happend and we had a verbal agreement that he was going to ship me out a new pair of bars and that i would just have to check my email for a tracking number so i waited 24 hours and i did not get an email with my tracking number so i had called the the number on the website again and this time Mike had answered the phone we were talking about why i did not get a tracking number in my email and he said they were still working something out and he asked me if he could contact me back later so i gave him my invoice number so he could get my email address to email me and about 1-2 hours later i received an email saying this "Thanks for reaching out earlier. I spoke with Mike and he mentioned email is an easier way of contact for you.Upon further research of the Root bars in oversize, they do come pre-slitted from the manufacturer. This is mentioned in our product description on the site which can be found here: www.outsetselect.com/collections/bars/products/root-industries-t-bar-black The option you selected clarifies that you did not want a slit added to the bars, which we shipped correctly. Had this been an error on our end, I would have no problem replacing the bars with a free pair for you. In this case, since a slit was not added to the bars at our shop, I'm unable to honor a replacement set. As a gesture of our appreciation for you as a customer, I'm willing to ship you a free bar-adapter, which will convert the slit into an SCS compatible slitless version. Let me know if this works for you, I can have it sent as soon as possible. Thanks for your understanding, Tommy" after this i went to look at the link to see if anything was changed and to my surprise they had added a section on the website page of my bars that says "Please note: 27.5", 27" and 26.5" heights are not available due to the oversized version having a pre-cut slit.
