My husband, who is American, took 2 flights straight from work to get to Heathrow so he could join me London for the 27th in what I believed would be quite possibly a pivotal moment in the history of our home the 🇬🇧 . This film has got me emotional. I was there on Saturday. My husband, who is American, took 2 flights straight from work to get to Heathrow so he could join me London for the 27th in what I believed would be quite possibly a pivotal moment in the history of our home the 🇬🇧 .
I've come away feeling more connected with my fellow country kin.
I was born into a decade where i remember English pride. Then, to decades of self-loathing leaders, educators, and a dismantlement of everything British.
The patriots you chose to speak to are the perfect examples of British people being what they truly are. Warm, funny, kind, courageous, just, and determined.
