I remember the black suit being more fun in this version. Also better villains
The only two good villains on the Wii (and below) version, were *Kraven* and *Venom.* The PS3 (and above) version had the best boss fights.

they really weren‘t good
most were either tedious or absolutely horrible and i love the game and both versions
but the bossfights really were better on the ps2
there were strategies to use while fighting certain enemies like morbius, lizard, kraven etc.
@@shadowv6794 But the Rhino, the Scorpion, the Apocalypse leader, the Candy Girls leader, and the Dragon Tale leader were all suckish bosses in the Xbox 360 and PS3 version. The Rhino and the Scorpion were just recycled bosses that ruined continuity considering how drastically different the Scorpion looked, sounded, and acted than he did in Spider-Man and how drastically different the Rhino looked and sounded in this game than he did in Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man even acts like it was the first time he ever met the Scorpion in the PS3 and Xbox 360 version.

I always thought Morbus and shriek were a thing but shriek was with Carnage then again this is one of my childhood games since I was a kid and I didn’t know

Before I saw venom let there be Carnage in soon I will see Morbius my brother and I did play Spider-Man 3 the video game once when I first learned about morbius and shriek but I thought shriek was supposed to be carnage‘s girlfriend even though I never knew that from the beginning but I do now. What tricks dress looks amazing I like this one . She should’ve wore some white make up it’s not like it’s going to be a honeymoon present.

This games swinging is better than spider man 2
100% agree. The swinging in this game is much more fluid and easier to miniver. And it's still very fast and satisfying.

Meh, both versions are good.
I prefer this one over the next gen versions. Better swinging, boss fights, simple but fun combat, full skill tree and the gangs affect the environment. Honestly the swinging in this game is better than SM2 imo it feels fast but, it's easy to control and miniver around the city it's very fluid and not nearly as clunky feeling.

well if you prefer this swinging thats fine but it really is not that good as the next gen and certainly not as good as spiderman 2 swinging

Both versions equally have their pros and cons. This version has better bosses, more logical continuity, better voice acting from Tobey Maguire, edgier and better black-suited Spidey, the lighting isn’t overly bright, and does not have those stupid hearts you have to collect, doesn’t make you play as the New Goblin in that annoyingly overly hard boss battle against the Sandman. But this version has worse graphics, lacks variety of combos, has a worse looking Venom and shitty Venom voice, and has you fighting Venom and the Sandman in the sandlot in front of the construction skyscraper instead of on the construction skyscraper like in the movie in the final battle.
At least this versions qte’s were god of war style and thank god to instead of a split second pop up in the middle of the screen with a random unexpected button press they show up as sqaure on the left circle on the right and x on the bottom and triangle on top the right way to make qte’s fun and not a angering bother even in situations were qte’s seem unnecessary
