    This is the best fly video I have seen, and I have seen hundreds. Your videos are really well photographed and clearly explained. However, what really made this stand out was the explanation of working with hackle. As advanced beginner/intermediate tyer, being able to get closeups of the hackles and hearing the explanations about the choices and how they're tied was really educational and enjoyable. I might suggest a separate video just devoted to those really close shots of various feathers and how they are used. Excellent work!

    This pattern has been around for longer than I have! I know what you mean, how did they tie these in the pre genetic hackle era.
    Something else I learned a few decades ago was wrapping hackle over a dubbed shank made everything stand up even straighter. Doing this I accidentally created one of the best Arctic Grayling flies I had ever used. I put a medium green Seal-X on then wrapped my hackle. I tied a lot of that type of Bivisible for friends for many years.
    You did a great job of showing this pattern being tied. Thank you!
