    Dude!....
    I really appreciate your effort and innovation towards this clone.
    I'm already planning on buying a clone MP5 host, so I can stretch this clone to an SD with an Omega 9K... Thank you 🤙

    Brilliant work! I’ve always wanted an SD model but never wanted to commit to having a dedicated suppressor for it.
    I might actually have to pick up a full size clone now just so I can larp with your handguard.

    Just received my order and it looks amazing... Can't wait to put it together..
    Nice touch on the miniature gift.. 🤙
    Great product!
    If you ever consider making this out of 3D printed aluminum, I think it would definitely be at another level..
    Thx.

    Such a smart idea. I converted a PTR to an SD. This would be so much simpler. Granted it's not ported but would be alot cleaner after shooting. Going to order one and try it out.

    What ammo are you running in this? And do you like the yhm can? How would it compare to an omega 9k?

    • @HKBryce
      @HKBryce  9 місяців тому +1

      I was running subsonics here, Freedom Hush rounds I think. Lately I’ve been using the Federal Syntech 150gr but I haven’t compared the two types yet.
      I love my R9. I have not tried an Omega 9K personally, but from what I have gathered talking to people is they sound about the same but the Omega is lighter and a little pricier. Aesthetically either option is perfect for MP5SD fakery, but shooting subsonics out of any girthy PCC can should sound very nice. The only time I’ve thought “shit that’s loud” was when I tried my Obsidian 9 is short config.
      If I could go back in time I’d probably get the 9K instead for weight reduction, but I have no qualms with the R9.

      @@HKBryce thanks for answering! I’ve been trying to decide for months what 9mm subgun to invest in and your video has about made me decide to go with an mp5 and a omega 9k. It sounded so good and the binary actually looks practical and controllable

    • @HKBryce
      @HKBryce  9 місяців тому +1

      @@See-yw1vwI think you’ll love it. There are more practical modern PCCs out there with bolt hold open, better safety selectors, etc… but for the cool and nostalgia factor the MP5 platform is king.

    • @See-yw1vw
      @See-yw1vw 9 місяців тому +2

      Just bought an omega 9k which mp5 clone would you recommend

    • @HKBryce
      @HKBryce  9 місяців тому +1

      @@See-yw1vw there is a lot of debate on this but in my personal opinion, the MKE AP5 is the best value out there at the moment. They are sometimes hit or miss so be sure to follow the break-in procedure to the letter and clean+lube before you shoot it. Complete the 500 round break-in with 124gr ammo before you go replacing extractor springs, levers and such (you will see this advice often when diagnosing fails to feed or eject).
      If you want to go all in on an MP5 collector's piece, the high end option is the SP5. These are 3x the cost but the way to go if you're an MP5 purist. Can't hurt to watch some youtube on the MKE AP5, the PTR, and the Zenith clones to help make your decision.
