Absolutely! I've been listening to this song since Willie Nelson recorded it in the mid-1970s. There have been a lot of great versions since then but few if any that surpass this one.
How many folks stop to think the amount of hours of rehearsal taken to create this masterpiece of performance? This coming together does not happen without serious preparation. So masterfully performed!!😍
Well, fantasticamo!!!:) What a surprise opening, I was waiting for Geary to step up and instead Anni carried it all the way through! And with the word slurs so craftily sung! The part where the trio came in almost left my blue eyes crying at this end, it was that good, super country!!!!!!
What a sweet surprise, logging in to find The Burnett Sisters Band performing “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain”, my favorite Fred Rose tune. As usual Anneli nails it. If I remember correctly this song was Willie Nelson's first No. 1 hit recording. It'll always be a mystery to me why Fred Rose never had Hank Williams record it in the studio. I have to assume he heard Hank's Mothers Best cover of it, which is pretty darn good. Anyway, thanks Anneli and all the gang, you made my day!
Absolutely perfect. Anneli owns this song just like every song she sings. Beautiful harmonies. Perfect instrumentation.
Great singing and wonderful harmony. Suggestion: Do more songs with that kind of harmony. It's special.
What talent - one of the best renditions of that song I’ve heard!
Thank you so much! 🥰

Totally beautiful.
This is great, so good!
What more can I say. This group just gets better and better. Wonderful. From OZ, down under.
Excellently done
Magnificent!

Wonderful! Myself and a few more guys preformed that and Good Hearted Woman at the FFA Talent show ... 1975 I believe, yes we won. Keep 'em coming...🙂
Great job, brother. This one was very popular when I was a early teen.😊
that bass fiddle..... just great......
Remember the first time I heard Crystal Gayle singing this song. Just beautiful ❤️
How cool is that? Thank You!
Makes me want to do some flat footing out to the shed and get my jug. 😂. Great job.
Tienen un talento, absolutamente brillante!!
❤ love it
I can tell they are fully aware of the 1970 Conway Twitty version of this song which is my favorite ❤ 👍
Thanks for the awesome audio quality on this video. Are you going to put this on a CD? I would want to buy it if you do.
A keeper!!!
Maybe! 🥰
These pretty girls sang pretty songs, now aren’t they beyond good. They sang prettier each time I am fortunate enough to see and hear them!
❤
I would suggest listening to Pretty Polly with Patty and Bill Monroe. Bluegrass is my genre.
That's a great one!
