There’s a chance you might not see this but how do I make it so that whenever I move a block with a texture (Example, brick texture) the texture moves with the block instead of staying still
Hey, go into object mode which should be 5 on the keyboard. Then select the object that you want to move and the texture should go with it. If you have any other questions in the future check out the discord :) discord.gg/JmW5PNWs28
Hi, i have the problem. When i'm on the floor, my shadow shows normally. But when i climb on the prop, my shadow is completly black and props are completly covered in black from the other side
My compiler gets to the end of compile but just sits there saying "building..." never acually finishing the process, anyone know what causes this? Nice vid btw! Notes: No errors, compilers says "Map build finish" "OK: 13 compiled, 0 failed, 1 skipped, 0m:22s" Then "CDataModel: 20 elements left in memory!!! " and just stuck running but never finishing. I've let it run for an looong time. map is only a small box for testing. I have ray-tracing gpu and have been able to build maps a few months before, but not anymore.
@@Antfernybah Hey thx for the reply! I have, also duble checking now all is set up correctly and re-compiling. I find very little on the 'net about this problem, any tips or ideas what might cause this would be useful. Cheers! Edit: No progress on my part, except reading about a similar problem with files saving in the wrong directory.

the map is compiling. After final compile, I can play, but after adding it to the Steam Workshop, the map won't turn on

Did you add everything that is required (lightmaps, probs, player spawns, etc) for the map to run properly?

@@Nyllsor yeah I’m not sure why it’s acting up. Only thing I can think of would be to reinstall the game
How do i get back the tool properties tab if i accidently closed it
In hammer, klick View > Toolbars > Tool Properties
Compiling takes waaaaay too long, even with a top-tier pc.
