Puma MB.02: Bigger Strength, Same Weakness

In this video we go over LaMelo Ball’s second signature shoe with Puma - the MB.02 “Supernova”.
Cushioning remains to be a strong aspect of its performance, with the Nitro foam midsole providing excellent responsiveness and softness on feet. Impact protection is excellent with this foam, and traction performance stays consistent from my experience. Dust pick up is still a downside, and they are slightly heavier than average but the weight is not a concern to me. The engineered woven mesh material on the upper feels just okay in hand, in that regard I would much prefer what we had on a first version. In general, the MB.02 is a great shoe and a solid continuation of Puma’s LaMelo signature line. More colorways to come!

TBH i was disappointed strictly on looks wise. i hate all that fuse in the upper. MB.01 looks better imo.

Hey. Those two are super close in terms of overall performance, lots of similarities too. I’d probably go with the Kyrie Infinity? And they’ll require a half size up.

Good point, the silhouette and shape look too much like the first one. Hopefully they’ll come up with a new design that’s equally as good next. 😃

LOL true but in this case I think the shoes are totally fine. These actually have one of the better ankle protection out there.

@@Philosophisticated It is the base of the shoe outriggers on the outsole, overall the width of the shoe. These are good stability that helps avoid ankle rolls. The ankle counter that gives the ankle and heel area structure which is pretty good with these.
There isn't a shoe on earth that would have prevented that ankle sprain

About the same around the toe box, but overall the MB.02 fits a little bit tighter, or more secure in a sense.

@@scr00che94 Slime is my favorite. Oh and I would strongly recommend getting a colorway with the translucent outsole, the traction performs much better than solid rubber.
