I think it's appropriate to just set in stone loco was the worst coach in history based on what we know of these stories and him refusing to ask korean teams for scrims cos he was embarrassed about TSM getting completely owned.
That was only in 2015 tbh, in 2014 he got them to be scrim partners with both of the samsung teams

@@Vendrix86 I mean I would not have a strong opinion on coaches personally because we don't see them working obviously. inero's crew scouted closer and created the core of the roster that went on to win lcs once and place 2nd back to back. the shitshow that is ggs roster management can be explained by owners that cut budget but still want to see you do something, hence the weird roster swaps. his ex players (the ones I keep up with at least) speak highly of him and you could argue his team has been better than imt, dig or tsm for the most part despite being less equipped.
@@limestonecastle player after player repeatedly say coaches don't do a whole lot. Obviously this differs per coach but that's the consensus. More often than not they are bodies that fill vacant roles. Now that inero is a GM we can see what he's made of. Otherwise, he's out the door after a few splits.

Meteos could make a great coach if he would focus on his attitude issues. His game knowledge is great and he has a good idea of the issues with NA League culture and decent ideas of how to fix them; but he needs to work on his aggressiveness towards others, especially people in positions of authority, and his always thinking he's right. But that's a hard thing to do when you don't think you have those flaws to begin with.

@@travisdk84 nah it made sense since he was fluent in english and korean and had friends in OGN/LCK. guys attributes and connections were valuable early on (im pretty sure he was the reason lustboy went to TSM) but he def used em to his advantage for job security to dick around
this is why NA league is where it is today. it's always been about this gossip and drama and girls and god knows what else. it's never about the game. rubbish culture, no wonder bjergsen and DL retired. you can't get anywhere individually when the rot is so deep, people wanna people be coaches and analysts so they can get girls not win worlds. cringe.

This shit was happening in LCK and LPL too. Sometimes even worse. Korean orgs tend to not want bad PR for sponsors so their careers get cut when it’s public but lol. This isn’t some NA exclusive stuff
