Sorry. Shalae They added an extra $134.00 which brought my totat to $306.92 which included my balance on my EBT card. So appreciate the extra food money.

My family and i still survive on these foods even on food stamps. I know people say our fridge is full of food and people with jobs, don't have food. Thats bs because food is expensive and i have to budget our food stamps to last the first 3 weeks. I can't buy lobster or steaks to enjoy, nope.

I went from the $16.00 a month to $194.00 for now. It takes a lot of stress off my shoulders because you cannot buy a lot of good healthy food for $16.00
I normally get $16.00 a month to buy food for myself and daughter; that buys 2-3 items. So I'm grateful for the increase at the moment as well.

@@paulettesimmons471 It (max benefit) was also given for July. I believe they're extending it on month by month basis now. With covid 19 spike, it may continue for several more months. Stay safe. Ps. This depends on state as well. Your state if you don't mind me asking?

Anyone with the pandemic EBT card DO NOT THROW IT AWAY DURING THIS OUTBREAK!!!! Because at any time the government can put more food stamps on your card without you having to reapply!!!!

In Kentucky we have a food program for Louisville residents called Dare to Care since March we have been receiving a box with fresh veggies and some meats delivered to our apartments. Its fantastic!💙🙏💙 Thank You for everything you do stay blessed.

They don't give enough food stamp to live bye everything is gone up what can we do about that
As soon as the Stores hear about the pebt and Stimullous they ran the prices of meats up 3 fold. I thought that price gouging was illegal. Take pics of these prices in these stores and send them to the Governors & Attorney Generals. Its a hot mess alright.

Last week I found out that Amazon accepted EBT and made a big order. I had ordered a few non-food items as well and during check-out they automatically separate the EBT payment from your debit/credit payment. I will be doing this again! Also, check out the Amazon food brand for extra savings.

Cincinnati OH here..... I normally get my stamps on the 16th but since I applied towards end of March-beginning of April there has been a additional 2 or 3 times I get stamps placed onto my card. I am a single disabled mother with 2 children at home still and another thats disabled.
It has been a HUGE blessing..... Least we are able to eat lol may not be able to pay all my bills but least been blessed with the ability to have food for myself and children.....

I know Im on SSD and they were giving me 13 dollars on EBT and was not checking my card just letting the money build up. My friend called and said did u get xtra money on your card I said I doubt it my worker tripping...I have told her what $13 going buy..so I checked the card and I had 177 on my card and wow...thank you Jesus cause I sure needed it..Food was getting low..I was skipping a bill so I could buy food..being on SSD right now is hard until I finishing healing from my knee replacement surgery.. so the xtra food stamps is great...

In my state and the town I live in for senior citizens already give them is 12 or fifteen dollars - in the state of Mississippi that is a shame senior citizen
In NY I get the Minimum which is $16 for one person and that’s it ... they now started giving an extra $178 to those people that are not receiving the full benefits for one individual.... what I want to know is for how long? And will it be til the end of this year??

There is a website at the Houston food bank the seniors an disabled can go on an the will bring food to your house, I live 60 miles north of Houston an they bring food here to my house, I will find the site an share it with u! Single, elderly, low income but above income for snap go to your local food banks or churches. You have to check your local area, some churches are even doing drive thru hot meals. If you have a child in school that was receiving free or reduced lunch and you haven't received a snap card contact your district nutrition person at the school. They are doing snap automatically through them and it will be quicker than going through the state office. In SC they are additionally adding fresh produce boxes to the weekly lunch boxes that provide breakfast and lunch. Check locally because some areas have overwhelming resources that people aren't using, follow local schools/ resources on Facebook or find the websites and sign up for emails so you will know whats going on and whats available.
washington state gave us the max for our household of 2 and the school free lunch amount of $399.

I am grateful for your frequent updates. You are pleasant and use simple terms that all can understand. I only receive $16.00 in food stamps. I'm so happy to receive the additional $178.00. I've been able to eat healthier meals with food items I normally wouldn't or couldn't afford. I'm eating salmon and quality fresh produce. With the extra food; income I actually have money in my account at the end of the month.

It was your childs school that was responsible for sending the list of children enrolled in the free/ reduced lunch program to the foodstamp office. Contact the foodstamp office and they may ask you to give them a copy of the approval letter from the school to prove they were in the program.
@@amandas5379 I did contact them but they told me they was new to this program too and didn't have much info on it, I applied and was approved on line about 3 weeks ago but I hadn't received anything

Also with EBT you can get really cheap internet through AT&T its $10.00 so from there you can work from home if you can and your child can use that WIFI for school.
HI, to apply they need to call, 855-220-5211 and it depends where you live it could be as low as $5 or $10 a month for AT&T, blessings to all!
