I will never ever understand how SwanQueen never actually happened on screen. It was the perfect love story with a perfect ending and they had to ruin it with CS and OQ. 🙄
God, I will never get over these two. If they were a hetero couple they’d be canon FOR SUREEEE. I think that’s why swanqueen shippers are still sticking around (not like in the height of swen nation, ofc, but still a considerable amount for how old the fandom is,) because the “””chemistry””” (if you can even call it that) between CS and OQ is common and straight couples like them are EVERYWHERE. However, SQ seems like a more organic romance, built up over many seasons. Unlike other ships, they don’t get stagnant- they grow with each other and toward each other, naturally, in a way that doesn’t feel force fed, like some other relationships are (looking at you, Ruby and Dorothy.) And the most horrible part of it all is that we were never given the satisfaction of seeing them explicitly canon, and it’s a damn shame. Instead, we rely on scraps given to us from lingering glances and subtext that most don’t care enough to see. We rely on the amazing writers in our community, on the fanartists, on the shows that proceeded it that were brave enough to do what OUAT could not. But in the end, it’s still so heartbreaking because of all the wasted potential. That’s why we’re still here and other ships have faded. Because nothing can really ever make up for the injustice that is the queerbaiting of swanqueen.
And the story never ends, this is life, this is love, in its most painful and beautiful way. No one could ever erase what there is beetween them. Not the years, not the people, not the time...absolutly nothing. SwanQueen is forever❤
Returning to the swen fandom after a decade - 0:17 made me smile; I remember when they were so young and getting to know each other and the chemistry was fire

i loved every second of this. the pace you kept up with is incredible. and the way all the clips synced in with the song ... unimaginable. all the work you did - and i imagine it was a lot - was worth it. i loved it more than i could imagine. you captured their love so well... and the melody... everything... was incredibly breath-taking. they deserved to be canon, they WERE canon. thank you for your effort. what a stunning piece of art ...

Oof I'm a huge swan Queen shipper. This is the most important ship for me on ouat and I only watched these series because of SwanQueen... I mean, WHY CANT ANYBODY SEE THAT THEIR ACTUALLY IN LOVE?! Look at them, see how they look each other!! No scene is such intense as SwanQueen scenes... I mean, just look at Emma's face at 4:39 ... OOF. And OOF that background music!! The scenes itself made my heart brake into pieces again, but that music... damn they should've used that in a SwanQueen scene, in the show. And OMG, someone should make a movie just based on all SwanQueen scenes out of the show!! It would probably my favorite movie, even if they don't kiss (obviously, because if they just would take all the scenes of the show, there won't be a kiss, because the never kissed on the show)... I would even help producing it!! Aaaah I have an idea: every SwanQueen shipper shouldcome together and let's create a club where we produce the SwanQueen movie!!
