I will be live for the rest of the day farming my next big upgrade @ www.twitch.tv/animeprincess Hope this video helps out all the newer players swapping over to Stormweaver!!!
Thank you for pointing out the importance of quality on the archmage gem. I have been holding on to my gcps because they are so rare and did not want to spend them on the wrong thing. I have not quite reached lvl 84 yet, so I'll make do with my lower level spark and some modest gear upgrades. Getting into tier 10 maps I've noticed more and more near death incidents, so even levelling up on a budget is harder than I expected. Your (and Lance's) videos have been a great help and I'm looking forward to many more as PoE2 continues towards its full release.
Have you tried the lucky lightning damage anoint? Seems like that would be a huge damage boost but the distilled emotions for it are so expensive that I haven’t tested it yet.
Yes he has, its about 30% more damage ish if you run 0 crit via support gems. Depends on your items if its worth to get, there are some pretty good items you can get for the price of that anoint.
Do you not recommend the crit tree on the right anymore? Also, do you have feelings on the +75% shock magnitude gem on spark? Taking it off for exposure makes me feel like my trash clear goes down, and of course 75% less magnitude of shock means a much smoller lightning conduit
is there a reason why you value the % of damage as extra cold/fire/lightning damage so high? in my tooltip, the added damage is minimal, barely 250dps out of 31k
@@RADARTechiewhy would they nerf this? The only thing they needing is the blink build just bcuz something is good doesn’t mean “oh look Wizard is doing good let’s nerf it for no reason”
@@runeplate123archmage will definitely be nerfed its too strong. There are people that are hitting for 170m in like 2 seconds against max difficulty bosses, killing them instantly. ES also needs to be nerfed, So it might get hit with a double whammy soon.
If you're finding yourself in that problem, try running mana remnants and getting a few jewels with + % mana recovered on kill. For mapping those two basically make it impossible to run out unless you fall asleep in the mana tempest. Levels on archmage also help - each level reduces the mana % on cast your spells consume. If you're still in trouble, consider switching from mana tempest Orb of Storms for mapping. It doesn't eat more mana and you can link it with font of mana for more mana regen, unbreakable to reduce your chance to get stunned while in it or either exposure or shock (whichever one your main DPS skill currently doesn't apply). That's working really well for me right now and is almost free so long as you're clearing maps and have a few lesser jeweller's orbs to 3-link the orb of storms until you can get your gear to the point that your mana is beefy enough.
@AndragonLea thanks I'll take a look at that. I thought about remanets as well, but I didn't see a lot of ppl running it, so I figured my issue was my overall mana pool being too small. Think I'm about 2500 mana, maybe that's my issue .
@@diazp904 Not many people run it because it mostly helps with sustain while mapping, not so much with boss fights or harder content where you're not consistently killing things and then moving on. I only recommend it as a stopgap - eventually your maximum mana is supposed to be high enough (and your mana use per cast low enough thanks to higher archmage levels) that the arcane surge and mana regen passive nodes will take care of mana use. Fingers crossed! I'm at 2800 and I rarely have any mana issues using Font of Mana in Orb of Storms, only when I'm spamming like mad during boss fights, which is actually a me-issue. That's not supposed to be what you do, but I want them dead ASAP. :D
man the scaling with this build goes nuts once you start minmaxing, currently at 156k tooltip without buffs after pivoting slightly to some crit and getting ingenuity
Lel, how do you even start mapping on spark? I'm currently stuck on tier 4 maps by waystone droprate and my spark deals only ~3K dps (17/20 spark)... I cannot even use lv 19 spark cause my level is too low and I almost get no exp on tier 4 maps xD I feel like there is a huge gap between difficulty scalling and rate at which players gain power, upgrades in some builds.
I got to 60k DPS, that was kinda easy even for PoE newb like me. But now what? How do I grind the 80D for the ring? 30D for belt? As a newb I dont really understand the transition from early game to late end game, where everything costs dozen times my current worth. For reference, 4,3kMana, 5k ES.
I still don't understand how you have so much mana and shields, I bought almost all the cool things (each of them cost from 1 divines to 4) and I was only able to reach 3800+ mana (I'm 89 lvl)
I can swap a ring out and get to 30k, but the max lightning hit drops significantly and my mana regen feels non existent. I’m noob so not sure which is better. Been playing with the lower cast speed ring because I’m afraid if I’m always oom and I get hit I’ll just die. Only lvl 89
please someone help me, maybe this is relevant but im currently lvl 81 with lightning warp lvl 21, but with all good gems and great tree my damage is only 3000.
Drop everlasting and pick up a +3 all spells with int, cast speed and mana. My spark tooltip is 175k and I don’t even have Ingenuity yet. With 4x Siphon Power I’m around 325k. All bosses delete. 7k mana. Nothing lives long enough to even threaten me.
This is fine playstyle but not for everyone. It requires alot more focus on the players part. You can't really be watching a 2nd monitor cuz of on death effects and explosions.
@ man you need a large mana pool, 4-5k before you swap. Stick with everlasting until your mapping. This DPS version is really geared for end game. It’s not very budget.
@@vzwson4995 Noted. I appreciate that man! It was hard to gauge when to spec into ES and when to swap over to EB. It's nice to have an idea of when I should focus on new things in the build. Any tips for mana stacking? I swapped to EB but I still only have like 1200 mana. I have some gear that lets me keep 3000 ES but I'm not getting the mana I'd like just yet. Is it just stacking ES mods on the rest of my gear so more gets converted to mana?
how do u solve ,the " im waving my wand but nothings happening" or " i cursed the enemy 5 times , but hes still not hit w curse" i also tried storm caller , but didnt notice any differnce what am i missing?
@anime.princess i do but not during these examples. I'm just standing on my own casting. Or well away from any mobs, but I have name lock on them when I curse...
Penetrate can’t get you below 0, so it’s mostly only good early (and sometimes with clear when you don’t get time to really stack -res). You can lower resistances below 0, so it’s better late when you can scale it more.
Your real problem with scaling damage (or anything for that matter) is the fact that the market is screwed. Only no lifers have the amount of divine orbs it now requires to increase ones power exponentially.
It really depends, i was making 15-30 div per day playing 3-5 hours just farming easy maps. It also depends on what kind of items you have, there are super good cheap items depending on how many stats you are looking to be good.

what do you think about going for the crit nodes tho ?
every answer to these problems is basically "do trading" and I just die inside
Hey man, one question: when you were levelling your sorc, before you decided to go CI, did you take +chaosres from Servi?
Have you tried the lucky lightning damage anoint? Seems like that would be a huge damage boost but the distilled emotions for it are so expensive that I haven’t tested it yet.

im using Lighning Rod anoint rn on stream lol
how you get 6k mana while mine is 3.5k with 200 mana with rings, focus , boots belts and wand with eldrich battery

you can see my gem setups in the video from yesterday
You should really get 21/20 spark. for 22-23 div its 10-15% dmg increase
Have 6k+ ES and 5k+ mana. Tooltip DPS is 38k. Seems like I missed something
Spark is 26 and Archmage is 21
What is the best way to scale up my mana regen? I'm not running spark, and can't really keep my mana up even without archmage.
is there a reason why you value the % of damage as extra cold/fire/lightning damage so high? in my tooltip, the added damage is minimal, barely 250dps out of 31k
Me crying with my 20k tooltip
20?? Baller, try 15 😢
I just hit 20k also. Only lvl 17 skills though.
It's gonna suck when they nerf this build.
Mine 8k 😄 Once I hit level 84 I'm gonna try and buy a higher wand than the +2 I have atm @@BGriffith85

bro your boots are nuts how do you get 4 lines of resistance on boots? is there a way to craft like this?
not without massive rng gambling, crafting sucks in this game. It's all about trading, which is lame.

hi, can u tell me what unique jewel u use? thanks!
i have a video a couple days back that covers all our jewel options and go over mine
Why is evry1 speaking about 6 links. there are only 5 visable suport gems. How the F can you have more then that ?
6 links means 5 supports. Skill gem + 5 supports
more cast speed/level = more mana consumption, still become my problem

you cannot put runes / soul cores into spell weapons. if you mean the support links its in the previous video on my channel

how do you get level 20 spirit gem? just eventually when you are high level?
Uncut gems 20lvl drop from Arbitr with chance (or buy for ~3div from trade)
You buy it from trade or run tier 18 maps and its very rare to find one...
i82 zone rare drop or thru trade
What is the level requirement for an uncut lvl 20 skill gem?
What links should sigil have?
