I am a former Air Cadet myself, having been in the RAF section of the CCF while at school. I did Air Experience Flying, which included aerobatics. As a result, I can go to any theme park in the world and I'll very happily go on all the rides! Even the really big ones!
Can u tell me what u did, I’m 14 and I have a squadron literally on my street and I wanna join it, I don’t get the process and I basically don’t have a clue what I’m getting myself into lol. Like do you do lessons in the buildings and go out in a van cuz I saw an RAF van outside
Im in the ACF, We do most of this, apart from Flying. We get to do Parachuting, (That is, if you have enough luck to win the lottery 5 times) which is cool.
Sometimes, yeah. I wish I could do all this stuff, but we rarely do, unfortunately. 2 years, not flown an aircraft, never been selected for an activity, never done dofe because they never did it so I missed out and in fact my school is going tomorrow and so I'm missing out. It's great, I love it, but we could do more. This is the example I look up to.
I was like this when I was young for years a couple of years maybe when I was able to join I was so pleased there was also a small waiting time when I was 13, I stayed for 7.5 years and had an incredible time, I did all sorts of stuff, like camp flying gliding shooting competition you do have to do stuff that is not hugely fun but if you try and do everything and make sure you listen and behave make sure your uniform is sharp and shoes highly bulled you should do fine I got promoted and lots of other stuff, listening and behaving is key.
I have seen people suspended demoted and kicked out in the 7.5 years I was in the key thing is to learn, it's ok to make mistakes just make sure you listen and turn it around to make sure you don't do whatever you did again.

If you did air cadets do you have to do it twice a week or is it optional to do it once a werk
What’s the hardest training course
Cadet Commando Course.

How old are you guys?
It's 13+ I think but I may be wrong. It's different from Royal Marine cadets so I don't know if they have different age rating but I think it's 13-18
