You don’t need to throw the water bottles. Just empty them and throw the water before security and then refill from water fountain before boarding.
That’s a clever suggestion but the concern which we discussed in the video was different.
We didn’t want to waste the water and the money which we spent. We already had empty water bottles and moreover we sometimes don’t like the taste of the water from fountain at the airport.
