- Tried out Black Paradox, which had a lot going for it. Until I found out that the in game garage/shop is a bunch of BS. Then I tried more Super Meat Boy.

2:06:09 - this jump is actually super easy, just slide up the wall, hold left and jump. Also, run button should be held 99% of the time.
Most people give up on chapter 4, glad to see someone progressing so far so quickly.

If you like bullet hell type games and want to support indie developers. There is a great game on PS4 called Enter the Gungeon. It is very good, and I think you'd enjoy it.
Its on the switch also damn good game. Very tough for casual players but fun

Awesome stream as always Mike. Black Paradox would be a damn good shmup if it just had more variety, for starters why can't you at least get 3 lives? ffs even R-Type isn't that unforgiving! i'm all for a crazy challenge but that is fucking ridiculous, 1 death for any reason what so ever, no matter how far you've gotten and its all the way back to the beginning, most nes games didn't even do that, obviously this is just one of the many faults of the game but i digress, this could have been amazing if they had done it right, great idea, poor execution imo.
Hey Mike it looks like you can skip 3 hard levels per world to vs the boss in order to continue in SMB. "You need to complete 17 levels in each world to unlock the boss. From the Super Meat Boy Blog: When you start a new chapter, all 20 main levels are unlocked. The boss remains locked till you complete at least 17 of the 20 levels in that chapter, and once you defeat the boss, the next chapter is unlocked."
PS4 games I would like to see you play? Ninja Senki DX! (for the umpteenth time 😄). I think you'll love it. 8 bit graphics, mix between Megaman and Ninja Gaiden and a difficulty that you'll love.

441 1:49:43. This music track sells this game for me. The art is perfect for it but it has a mood. Then it fs it all up to be microtransaction mobile.
442 1:54:15. This game is stupid. Take a good game and make it bad by designing it around microtransactions.

You really should check out Cursed Castilla. It is available on PS4 (as well as Xbox and Steam). It takes inspiration from Ghosts n Goblins, but adds its own twists and surprises. Should be fun and at least a bit of a challenge.
I'd like to see you play quake if possible or cyberpunk 2077 and maby updated version of a popular shmup like star force.
Valfaris and The Aquatic Adventure of The Last Human are both amazing and I think you’d like them.

Hopefully, Super Meat Boy Forever will be changed up a little bit before release. It needs to be zoomed out more than what they showcased.

MIKE, YOU NEED TO DO THE DARK WORLD LEVELS IF YOU HAVENT. I believe you need to press square during the level select option. Either way, you're missing HALF of the game.

@@BigMacOrange curse of the moon was pretty good. Hyped me up for ritual of the night for sure. It was a good return to form for those of us wanting a good retro castlevania game, because we all know konami isnt gonna give us a new one.

@@felix-ve8jk should have figured as much, I think, he dod curse of the moon as well. Needless to say there are plenty of games that are good homages to retro games.
