Did you find out where you'd hidden you?
Did you discover where you are?
After all those years of waiting -
    Constant baiting -
    You killed your lucky star.
After all those years of waiting
    You killed your lucky star.
    Realize you outplayed the joke.
Don't you see, you've gone too far.
All your laughter has gone sour,
    And the hour
Has left you with its scar.
All your laughter has gone sour
And left you with its scar.
Let me know what you're going to do -
What the future has in store.
Tell us, has the suffering past,
    Or will it last forevermore?
Tell us, has the suffering past,
    Or will it last forevermore?
Kevin Vicalvi, a native of Worcester, Massachusetts, has been a musician all his life... in 1974, Kevin released an extremely nice psych / folk album of his own material, feat. himself on vocals, guitars, and keyboards, with friends and fellow musician Denis dela Gorgendiere on bass.
The album is still considered a classic of the independent singer / songwriters genre and is requested by collectors around the world...

I still remember recording the basic tracks for this as if it were yesterday. What a masterful song and performance. I think the strings were my ARP 2600 with a string patch played with my violin-bow mod, which had a Countryman direct contact mic on it, but Kevin may have augmented this with live players too.
