This sounds like it might be a Priority Date issue? However, if your priority date is current, you may want to make an inquiry with the office that is currently processing your case. Good luck!
Can you please expand on that? I’m not sure I understood what you said. My mom applied for asylum and both my father, siblings and I are part of the application . It’s been 4 years and we are still waiting for an appointment.

My wife is in Korea and our interview was slated for March 24th but the US embassy shut down on March 20th. So since then we’ve been waiting patiently as to when the interview would resume and there wasnt any information regarding reopening overseas.

WHY THE SEVEN WEEK DELAY? In CA the unemployment department announced in an April 30 news release that "If you received your last benefit payment for weeks you spent unemployed on or after March 21 and are still within your benefit year, you will not meet federal requirements for PUA. But the EDD will automatically file an extension claim for you as soon as it’s available since we will already have your information needed. You will receive a notice from EDD when that claim has been filed and when you can certify for PEUC benefit payments." But the EDD says as it has said for seven weeks "The EDD has a dedicated team working to build the new 13-week federal extension of benefits established in the federal CARES Act called the Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC)". It does not take this long for this system to be put in place. What is the purpose of the delay? Thanks guys for the feedback. It is important to know this is a bill and it may or may not pass. Lots of people think it will. Lots of people think it won't. The first stimulus bill had an uphill battle and it was far less robust. On the other hand, our economy is worse off now, so this might be a possibility. Let's see what happens.

The bill will likely be voted on later this month. If it passes, they will tell us how they will issue the money and when.
I have been in the United States since 2017, but I wasn't here in January 27 as I traveled to my country for some reason and I came back in February. Does that mean I'm not eligible ? Please can you help me to elaborate on that for me?
Once the bill passes, we will know more specifics but if you were residing in the US on January 27, 2020 you should be good. Once the bill is passed, we will see what qualifies as "residing." Perhaps, your quick trip will not disqualify you.
This is not a done deal. There are no guarantees. It actually is only a proposal and has yet to be decided on. You have obviously not checked for updates. The president actually wants to cancel stimulus payments until further notice. Be careful not to give people false hope. It is far from being approved.

Did it actually pass or not it is to many conflicting stories one minute its proposed the next Trump canceled it. This is getting irritating.
It has Not passed, it's in discussion phase. Congress doesn't come back until May 11th so pay attention after that date. If it passes the house then it goes to the senate & if it passes the senate then it goes to Trump's desk.

I had my interview done on the 4th of March and i was told to go back for my results after two weeks but by then they closed the offices to the public, when do u think I can get my response, thank you.

The consulate probably hadn't completed processing when they were forced to shut down on very short notice. As soon as they reopen, they should continue processing. If you don't hear anything a week or two after they open, I would contact them.

Hello Sinthia, If you have a valid Green Card, you may continue to travel in and out of the US. I-130 applications are not impacted by the Executive Order. You can look up your precise processing times on USCIS.gov

Question for adjustment of status currently reside with me in the USA.
We already submit the I-485, I-944, I-765, I-864 together with the supporting documents & I-797 receipt notice for I-130 last April 27, 2020 but we haven't receive a notice from USCIS .
We filed our form I-130 april 14,2020.
Her I-94 for b2-visitor visa is valid only until May 22, 2020. I'm a Permanent Resident holder for now. I was supposed to have a citizen test this may but it will be deleyed. Does she need to apply for extension of stay? what is the best option that we can take.
She is okay as long as the I-485 was filed before her I-94 expired. Once you are a US Citizen, she is okay even if she filed after the I-94 expired. However, if you want to be totally safe (just in case her AOs is denied, etc. you can file a nonimmigrant extension).

Hello Aminul! When USCIS sends a REquest for Additional Evidence, they provide a list of documents that might help. You do not have to send them all. Just send what you have but be sure to answer all of their questions. For example, to prove your petitioner is your sister, submit a copy of your parents' marriage certificate showing they were married before you and your sister were born, your sister's birth certificate listing both of your parents, and your birth certificate listing both of your parents. Hi courtney I did my interview April 30 2019 a week later they requested more evidence which I sent in 3 days later and didn't hear back from them in September my dad passed I went in to get a travel document but was told that I have no status and if I got the document I could be denied reentry and my case would be cancelled and my husband would have to file all over again..what should I do from here?

Therefore, you can call the USCIS Customer Service line and make a Service Request or you can make an infopass appointment at your local office once it reopens.

Hello! Thanks for this great question. The interview for the K-1 visa is a bit different than the interview for the CR1. As a result, they are most likely going to want to interview her again. Your marriage is legitimate so I don't foresee any problems with the marriage component. Please watch our videos on the marriage interview for more details.
